Ty Law Update

Law hasn't been offered much of a contract by anyone yet. He knows the market will get better when someone gets injured in mini camps or training camps and a team starts to panic. Then he can get a better deal. Also, by late July or Aug. coaches can see how his injury is progressing. I don't think he'll sign with anyone for quite a while yet.

There's no way that Ty Law would take a ONE YEAR league MIN contract, this is Ty Law. I guess it's good that we're trying to acquire him, but it really just might be a waste of time. The guy's looking to be overpaid and when he's FULLY healthy, you know someone's going to give in.

i could see him taking a league min contract with moocho incentives for a 1 year deal. then healthy next year he will get his last contract (big money). It can happen.

Well he might HAVE to. There aren't any teams beating down the door to sign this guy. He's gonna have to prove to the league that he can still play. I agree with Byroan on this one.

Very good point. The Poston's could force him into a deal like that if they feel Law was being undervalued in the market, due to his recent injury.
