just saw it on NFL Network. made some great comments about the dolphins. has this been posted?

vet minimum contract, we'll take him...more than that I dont want him.

He says he wants to win a Super Bowl, but $$$ is what he wants and will go to the highest bidder.

i agree with saban in saying that we need to get younger on defense and i think that signing law is moving in the opposite direction.

however i guess he may have another great year or two left in him and he would be a great mentor for the younger db's like travis daniels.

i worry about the cap space he will consume.

I wouldn't go that low i think I read somewhere that he was wishing for 10mil, no I'll pass on him. Otherwise, something a little bit more reasonable for someone on the downside of their career, yep. Sign him up.:dolphins: :dolphins:

Way over priced. For that kind of money, we could keep Madison and sign a good FA. and not just for a one year deal. We dont need him

How in the world do you expect to get a guy who led the nfl in INT with 10 (the most in a few years mind you) for the vet min? Not trying to bash you but Id love to hear how you expect that?

Brother he is lookiing for 10 million or so. He said what he really wants in another ring, and if Miami adds a quarterback they are going to be in the mix. The quarterback he mention was Steve McNair. I like what Brentson Buckner said on the NFL Network, that there is got to be some fire with that smoke.

I don't advocate offering him the "vet minimum" contract wise, but I agree that with the $$ he's asking for, we might as well just keep Madison. If Law is willing to come down on his asking price (Doubtful) then with respect to trying to get younger on defense, I think he's worth the pickup. I think Poole and Daniels are the future of this DB corps, but I don't thin they are ready to step in and start opposite one another next season. Having Law, Madison or some veteran presence over there for another year will help.

imo law has more then earned another big payday and really has never showed any signs of slowing down other then his past injury. after watching him play last year on a jets team where he was the best cb and the fact that teams often had the lead over the jets meanin more runnin he did very well with 10ints. that is a pretty big number. if the money cant be spent elsewhere im all for givin law his pay.

ty is still one of the best cb in foootball i think he showed he is back we need to sign him and resign shculters and we will be scary.....

he wants money. But this makes sense because he IS one of the best corners right now, certainly the best available one. He is old and has been injured. yet he got to the probowl with his NFL leading 10 tds. If we have money why not pay for him. CB is a glairing hole on our team and he would wihtout a doubt improve our team with him. Lets get real, hes not signing for the vet minimum, why speculate on getting him for it, totally unreal. I would love to see it but im afraid it may not work becuase we wont be able to pay as much as somebody else.

Veteran minimum for a guy who responded to "Can he recover" from his ankle injury with 10 ints????????? Where do you guys come from?
