The Patriots did not want to pay him the big bucks, and the Fins do not want to give him more than the minimum NFL salary. The Raiders seem to have all the money in the world to spend and have enough cap room to sign Moss and now, T.O.???? He need to go where he can get paid.:evil::evil:

I won't say this is a sensless post but look at it from Law's perspective. He has been a ProBowler and a three time Super Bowl Champ. He has already done what most players who play this game dream of. Now he wants to get a big fat pay check and wants to retire without any worries. Can any of us say we really blame him in this quest? No way. If the Raiders want to shell out that jack with money upfront, no way Law should turn it down. He'd be foolish to.

We all need to quit thinking he'll sign with us for a one year deal. It will never happen.

sensless post who cares

Seems like alot of people on this site care since alot of threads talk about(Dream) Law being a Dolphin in the future.:evil::evil:

what? the Raiders are getting T.O.?

That whole T.O thing won't happen! The cap is final, unless the raiders plan on cutting everyone except T.O and Moss, the two of them could not be on the same team. The same goes for Law, he wants a huge contract he won't be able to get since the Raiders just signed Moss, Woodson, Jordan, Porter, and have a few other big contracts (Gallery and all their rookies).

If the Fins and KC offered Law the same 1 year deal

Who would he sign with?

I would think he would play for the Fins over the Chiefs

Doesn't he have a home in Florida, and in Texas for that matter?

Law needs to face reality...first he's beyond his peak athletically. Second he is coming off an injury that more often ends CBs careers than lets them come back. Third, he was a player that benefited from the scheme played more so than say SM or PS. As I've said before, Law in JJ/Wanny D is not as good as PS or SM in that scheme and either SM or PS in BBs scheme is at least as productive as Law was in that scheme.

That said, he absolutely has the right to go after the big bucks, if he can get them. But most teams (as they've shown so far) aren't going to pay him PS money. He needs to face the music...BTW...without the plantar injury he probably gets the money he's looking for, but based on the 3 SBs he's been in and the NFLs perceived need for good CBs to be successful not because he is a top 3 CB (he isn't).

law sucks , he can go to oaktown with to and moss...
