Taylor seems to be really good and is NOT afraid to run, whereas for some reason(s) Tannehill (and/or Gase?) seem reluctant to use his athleticism to potentially make game-changing plays or avoid disasterous losses.

Who would you rather have as Dolphins QB - Taylor or Tannehill given the choice? :ponder:

Probably neither long-term. Buffalo's passing this year has been pretty anemic. They had 95 yards passing in Week 1 vs Baltimore and 89 yards passing Week 3 vs Arizona (3 rush TDs won the game).

Other games where Buffalo has won they threw for 112 yards vs LA and 179 vs SF. Like Miami they are a running team and want the QB to make minimal mistakes. Taylor is more of a running QB which is why he can take off and make plays. Tannehill has he capability of doing such but doesn't typically unless it's warranted as he's a better pocket passer IMO.
 
Wow!!! we got a little three game winning streak and you want to talk about Tyrod "freaking" Taylor?
 
I tuned in occasainally last night (Mondays are for Gotham & Lucifer); The way Chuckie was putting Tyrod on a pedestal was sickening.

At one point, he even said Taylor > Flacco.
 
Are we really saying we'd take Tannehill over Tyrod Taylor? I think Tannehill is an average/decent QB. But Taylor has surpassed him for over a year now. Come on guys, you're better than that!
 
I think that they are pretty much the same, neither one wows me. But I would take Tyrod because he is more accurate with the deep passes and a little more atheltic. Tyrod probably gets you one more win over Tannehil.

Says the poster w/ the username of a QB who makes Tannehill look like Brady, Rodgers, P Manning, & Marino combined.
 
Tyrod! He plays with the intensity and fire that has been missing at the qb position.
 
If Taylor was asked to do what Tannehill has been doing for his whole career up until the last 3 games, he would be out of the NFL by season one... Jesus ****ing chist man!
 
Tannehill all day, but his athleticism is overrated. Between these two he isn't close in that regard. That said, I think he's a much better overall QB.
