Ehhhhhh...maybe. The comments that he made a couple of weeks ago whether it was a joke or not coupled with him loosing probably made it alot easier for him to get fired.
mora sealed his fate with the radio comments he made.

Atlanta has a ton of talent and he couldn't do anything with it he isn't that great of a coach and no team will hire him as head coach after those comments about how he would leave for Washington State in a heartbeat.
I hope you are right but the Press seem to have a serious hunger for this story.

Atlanta did the right thing by saying I want no mora Jim mora.....the guys sucks as HC. He should've never gotten the job to begin with.
meh, they're team talent is overrated.
-Their secondary was horrible outside of Hall (and he got burnt a lot as well)
-The LB corp isn't very good
-The d-line (outside of Abraham) gets almost zero pressure on the QB.
-Lelie,Jenkins,and White have hands that make Chris Chambers look like Jerry Rice.
-Vick is inconsistent throwing the ball.
The only things they had going for them going into the season were their running game and Crumpler.
IMO Mora did get a raw deal, but I think Arthur Blank is going to make sure that their are several players that get released as well. Mora's downward spiral began when his dad called Vick a "coach killer", and then Mora said he'd leave in a heartbeat to coach the Huskies.
BUT the team is in the midst of chaos. Vick is losing popularity, 3 first round WRs dropping passes (and if they're getting payed like 1st round picks, that's a huge waste of money), Dunn is getting up there in age, and a lot of their recent draft picks are not ready to contribute (Jimmy Williams only started because Webster got hurt, the Falcons did not want him having to start at all this season.)
The only reason I'd want him as our coach IF Nick leaves, is the West Coast Offense.
