U of M's Jimmy Graham in Dolphin's backyard but FO passes

Who would want Jimmy Graham. He only played 1 year of college football. Forget the fact that he's a 6'6" super athletic TE with soft hands and all the potential in the world. Take a fat *** lazy lineman instead.

Hell I remember watching Jimmy as a hustler for the U basketball team . . . soft, soft hands, perfect TE body, athletic as hell . . . showed tons of potential in ONE year of college ball, blew away the combine and was sitting there in the 3rd round ready to be selected . . . and we went John Jerry. I was like give me a ****ing break. The Fins could have a dream team with some of the obvious misses on playmakers we see from them.

Even worse, they cut Epps who was one of the greatest TEs to ever wear a Dolphins uniform. Also, Vernon Carey is the best lineman in Dolphins history. Even better than Dwight Stephenson. If we had drafted Allen Bailey, we could have cut Karlos Dansby the next day. Same thing with Hankerson and Brandon Marshall. All of our problems would have been solved over the last few years if we had just drafted Miami players.

i understand this thread but really the guy had 3-4 catches and a td late on a blown coverage..get a grip he isnt antonio gates or dallas clark. i am not pro fasano but its ridicolous how we want any other te. like Boss and all the man crushes he has exactly the same stats as fasano, exactly...gram had 350 yds last year. cmon...we just want anybody thats not on our team.

Last year was Graham's second season playing football since he was a 9th grader in high school. He was learning the position from another UM alum in Jeremy Shockey. Now he's the starter. He had 4 catches for 56 yards and a TD. He's 6'6" 265 lbs and runs a 4.56 40. I can't speak for anybody else but I don't want anybody that's not on our team. There are plenty of guys I felt we should have drafted and passed on but guy like Graham who were in our own back yard and he didn't even get a sniff from this FO...that's just shameful. We've been doing it for far too long. Ever heard of Reggie Wayne? We passed on him for Jamar Fletcher....that one still burns me up inside. Most of the time we haven't picked high enough to get guys from Miami but in recent years we have and we passed on them. Did you see Sam Shields last night? We could have had him as an undrafted free agent but Sparano decided to scream at him because he didn't know the DB coach and told him he failed the interview.

We'll see if Graham and Fasano have the same stats at the end of the year.
