U wanna know the problem today, i'll tell you

We got Outcoached , bottom line.

There were 40 MPH winds going in one direction, We had the wind at our backs in the 1st and 4th quarter, Bills had the wind in the 2nd and third.

first of all, We get the wind in the first quarter and all we do is run Sammy Morris over and over and over. The billls weren;t dumb, thats all they did back, they waited for the second and third to let Losman throw the ball. We totally lost our opportunity in the 1st to get some sort of lead with the wind at our back. DUMB PLAYCALLING.

Then Losman gets the wind at his back and throws the ball and has success and we fall behind. YOU DO NOT NOW THROW THE ROCK WITH 40MPH WINDS against you in the 2nd and 3rd QUARTER. You run the ball with SAMMY and hope when the 4th comes back around u take your shots and hope to catch up. You do not throw the ball DOWNFIELD more than 5 yards!!!!! OUR COACHING STAFF WAS SO ******ED TODAY!!! Then by the the time the 4th comes aorund were in too big of a hole and u pull JOEY???? YOU MADE HIM LOOK LIKE A IDIOT TODAY, and u blame him and the offense. NICK I SAW U YELLING AT JOEY AFTER THE PICK, WHAT DO UEXPECT YOUR FINALLY TELLIN HIM TO THROW THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD WITH 40 MPH WINDS AGAINST HIM, YOU RUINED THE FIRST QUARTER AND GOT OUTCOACHED FROM THE 1ST TO THE 4TH, EVERY DECISION U MADE WAS DUMB, EVERY PLAYCALL WAS HORRIBLE, EVEN ON DEFENSE. NOT TO MEANTION THE BILLS MATCHUP GREAT AGAINST OUR WR's TO BEGIN WITH.

I AM SO PISSED, USE A BRAIN, THIS IS YOUR JOB, YOU GUYS MADE THIS TEAM LOOK AS BAD AS IT DID TODAY AND I BLAME NONE OF THE PLAYERS, I BLAME YOU :fire:
 
you win some you lose some... everyone expects to win every game... our team is still in the process of becoming good... so we lost to the bills... both teams will still be watching the superbowl from home and now we have a better draft pick

i think you make some excellent points,,that being said joey still is a bad quarterback but your right on with your acessment.

So, J.P. Losman can have a career day with the same wind that was too much for Joey Harrington?

What was Saban going to do with Harrington today? Pat him on the back and say "good job". The guy was HORRIBLE and not seeing that makes you a blindman.

Blaming Saban for all of Joey Checkdown's throws is hilarious! Joey did today what he ALWAYS does. Drop, read and throw short. He is afraid to take a hit to make a play DOWN THE FIELD. BTW, Mike Mularkey calls the plays, not Nick Saban.
 
Miami was going into the wind in the 1st qtr...........the wind was going scoreboard to tunnel.......this is why Miami came out running.

In case no-one here has ever thrown a football in wind.

Its just as hard to throw going with the wind as it is against it, JP did a great job with that today so I respect that, the thing is when you throw into the wind the ball comes up short. When you throw with the wind the ball sails on you.

Joey Harrington isnt very good in perfect conditions.

A better draft pick hasn't meant much in recent years. Maybe we'll actually trust our GM.

I don't get paid 5 mill a year and I said the same thing to my buddy sipping a beer watching the game. I figured they kept calling runs because the wind was in their face and the playcalling would switch with the quarter, but no. For the money we are paying this staff they should be able to go lay a golden egg on the 50 if asked to, much less be cognizant of wind conditions. The staff right now and their decision making ability resembles goof troop.
 
Are you insinuating that Mularkey called a bad game? When has that ever happened before?

He had a 0 passer rating. Thats a ZERO! I don't think that's ever happened before in the history of the NFL. He had to pull Joey.
 
The game plan was designed not to lose more than to win. Harrinton bites, yeah, but I don't understand why play him if he is so bad the coaches don't trust him to throw the ball. I thought this game was very much like the Pats game. I thought we simply got lucky in the Pats game because the (a) Pats had a aweful day and (b) our defense played one of its better games. But, even in that game we avoided passing to much. You know the Bills were going to take that knowledge into this game. We are at our third string (counting RW) RB and we still prefer to run over throwing, at least throwing more than we did. I would much rather lose going down with a fight (slinging the ball around) than that pop warner looking crap we watched yeasterday.
