i think that last years draft was very solid through out as far as yeilding a lot of players that contributed. this year there is a lot of talk about the udfa and late picks. anyone that you see in perticular that you think can make a difference. i like the wr kid from hawaii, i think he will beat camarillo and mabey even hagan on the depth chart, he is big and used to catching a lot of balls, but his blocking ability down field will realy sit well with the coaches

Could Carpenter really beat out Feely? I don't see Parcells keeping two kickers on the roster.

I have read in a couple places that Parcells just plain doesn't like Jay Feely. That said, I don't think Feely loses out to a guy like Carpenter unless Carpenter comes on a whole lot better than expected.

There are three kickers on the roster. Feely, Rayner, and Carpenter. Now, I understand that most teams like to bring an extra leg for camp. However, to have three kickers on the roster? Usually a kicker that makes over 90% of his FG's shouldn't have to worry about his job security. If there is one thing Bill Parcells hates, it's kickers. For Parcells, the only thing that's worse than a kicker, is a kicker who can't shut up. Feely has probably been one of the more vocal players on the team.

Carpenter had a pretty solid career at Montana and has a good strong kickoff leg, something that Feely lacks. Carpenter was worked out by kicking coach Steve Hoffman out in Montana, and was contacted personally by Parcells as the Draft was winding down. I think Carpenter is going to be our new kicker. Feely's age, salary, poor kickoffs, and vocal nature will land him in the unemployment line.

I think that in itself will send him packing. Parcells can't be happy with how Feely runs his mouth.

Here's what I would like to see at WR.

Ginn
Wilford
Bess
Foster

Forget Hagan. Drop him.

no way foster and bess beat out perry and hagan... fosters biggest contribution will be at as a returner something that perrry can due but perry is 6'3 210 lbs and hagan is another nicely sized reciever at 6'2. while foster is 5'7 in the 160 range... seeing that we already have a smallish guy is ginn and if you say bess makes the team its another 5'10 guy that size factor alone makes you want the taller guys.

Davone Bess.

Analysis on Bess going into the 2008 NFL draft:

" ANALYSIS: Bess has been a productive wideout at Hawaii and shows a solid game. Though he may not pass the eyeball test, he is sure to be a productive third receiver at the next level. "

People know what Bess can do. The only thing they are scared of is the fact that he came from a pass happy offense. Some people are just good at what they do.

He should not have went undrafted. I was calling for him in the 6th round. I have a feeling he comes into traning camp with those sticky hands and overtakes Camarillo and Hagan for the third reciever position.

Bess, Carpenter, Hilliard.

I think Hilliard replaces Mauia at FB, Carpenter is our next kicker (BP himself contacted him), and Bess will be our slot reciever.

Dj Hall

Everyone is excited about BESS, I am excited about DJ HALL(ALABAMA) who is still out there. Does anyone know why he had fallen off boards, Like MANNINGHAM at Michigan, HALL was productive???

With BP's focus on making special teams better I can see how the strong kick off leg would give Carpenter a "leg up".
