he just needs to make the team now... small guy though
 
I remember when he signed with FSU it was a big deal, I think he was the #1 LB coming out of high school.
 
He looks like a 2 down thumper. Probably makes the practice squad.
 
He is a 2 down Thumper but can handle some zone coverage. He is quicker than people think. I like him a lot especially as a UDFA.

He was second on my lb big board starting today's draft, just behind Kwon Alexander. His big issue is not being able to cover and its almost a deal breaker in today's nfl. I think our staff wants to keep us out of predictable substitutions and want 3 down lb's.

I didn't think WD would be drafting any lb's frankly because Tripp is scheduled to be our mlb and Hickey said McCain and Turner are getting expanded roles this year.

McCain is going to be the olb and situational pass rushing de. Can't wait for that!! No more Jordan taking snaps away from real football players.

McCain-Tripp-Jenkins is a pretty damned good looking lb crew.

Well, there ya go!! We signed him.

They didn't draft him because of his cover issues, just as other teams didn't, but Iike the poster above said, great signing as a udfa!!

He's a great football player. If this was 10 years ago, he would have been an upper first round mlb. But, its bombs away now and all hands on deck in the nfl and even the water boys have to cover TE's and RB's!!

He is to good not to use. They will find something for him. Probably back up Tripp.

Very, very happy with this draft. Well thought out and I had all the picks on my initial big board. Like last year, we drafted two players I really wanted, Douglas and Ajayi. Last year it was Turner and Landry. And now, with Luc, udfa is starting to look good too!!

Camp can't get here quick enough.

I'm telling you, Tripp is the mlb unless he is injured again. Misi got the shot because Tripp couldn't go. They were grooming him for mlb in camp as Misi is not a true mlb in any sense.

McCain is the player I am cranked about. If he doesn't stupid himself off the team, he has pro bowl abilities. Hickey says expanded role for him and turner this season.
 
I just don't see Tripp making that jump. I really don't like Misi and I would love for Tripp to develop into our starter, but the fact is Misi has way more experience at Mike than anyone on the team.

Sucks we passed on Perryman... I think that move will haunt us like some of our other past misses.
