The kid from Kentucky is more of a big Edge guy. DE in a 4-3 type.
Pretty sure they use the term big edge to describe 3-4 DEs. Just plain old edge is for 4-3 ends and 3-4 outside LBs.

You knew what I meant, right? I said big Edge because for an Edge, he is big, even if he plays 4-3 DE, or 3-4 OLB.Pretty sure they use the term big edge to describe 3-4 DEs. Just plain old edge is for 4-3 ends and 3-4 outside LBs.

Just for future reference, I say big Edge when the player I am referring to is comparatively big, ht and/or weight-wise. No matter what "they" use, whoever the hell "they" are.
Dream on Ray. I’ve read the same thread years ago after year and the 2 UDFA’s that make the team every year are nice stories but have certainly not moved the needle. It is my opinion that you have misjudged the effects of having so many potentially better players than are usually available as UDFA's.
I see these new UDFA's as presenting the potential for having a solid background of depth across the entire team - many with the potential to replace some higher paid players and preform as well, or better, on the field.
What does that mean, it means you are "RONG" about moving the needle!
Big league "RONG!
For whom does the bell toll?
The bell tools for you. - LOL
Mark Perry refused Miami's attempt to resign him to the practice squad. Appearently he has a friendship with Houston Texans starting QB, and instead signed with Houston.I whiffed on Perry last year. I was enamored with his athleticism and thought he had a shot at the 53 as an UDFA. My guess is he’s got horrible instincts or is undisciplined in his play.
Maybe, but unless one has looked at measurables and broken down individual player game tape (I doubt most ppl have), how would one even have an informed, valid opinion? Twitter? Highlights? It is my opinion that you have misjudged the effects of having so many potentially better players than are usually available as UDFA's.

Granted, this is a short highlight tape, but if this guy blocks this well most of the time, I don't see how he cannot make the team.
Can he replace Eich as backup G please?
And others want him either as 3rd string or gone completely.Oh Eichenberg better not see the starting position at anytime, or they are going to have a very angry fanbase.
Though I hope we can do better, I have no problem with Eichenberg as a backup with all the positions he can playing in emergency situations, but no longer should he be starting.
This could be the season that changes everything.Dream on Ray. I’ve read the same thread years ago after year and the 2 UDFA’s that make the team every year are nice stories but have certainly not moved the needle.
But who knows, maybe we sign 12 this year for all that quality depth.
I don't want Eich first off the bench if a guard or Brewer goes down. He needs to be farther down the depth chartAnd others want him either as 3rd string or gone completely.
