Jr. tailback Kelvin Taylor and wideout Demarcus Robinson are turning pro, McElwain announced Monday

Redshirt junior defensive end Alex McCalister, reportedly dismissed from the program recently, is also entering the 2016 NFL Draft. McCalister recorded a team-high 6 1/2 sacks, Taylor rushed for a career-high 985 yards and 13 touchdowns, and Robinson had 47 receptions and two scores.

With Vernon Hargreaves III already announcing his intention to forgo his senior season, the No. 19 Gators will enter next year without their consensus All-American cornerback and their leading rusher, receiver and pass rusher.

Alex McCalister looked really good for the Gators before he got hurt. Might be worth a 5th or 6th round pick depending on who we retain at DE. He might be a bit small as a 4-3 DE though.

is taylor fred taylors son? that kids got some talent...like his feet...good feet

just like his pops

Kelvin is a good kid and runs hard, but our line this year was atrocious at run blocking. It's a miracle that he's as close to 1,000 yards on the season as he is. He'd be a solid day 2 pick.

Robinson has had his head up his ass most of the time. Suspended 4 times in 3 years. Gifted athlete, but needs to learn how to hold the ball and quit dancing around with defenders. He has the occasional bad drop too. But if you get him on day 2 or 3 and coach him up, you guys could have a solid player on your hands.
