Who here is going to watch UFC 56 this Saturday? I personally can't wait to see Matt Hughes pick up Joe Riggs, and slam him DOWN. I think that Rich Franklin will have a tough fight against Nate Quarry. I also think the Georges St. Pierre vs Sean Sherk fight will be AWESOME, the winner of which deserves a title shot.

Doesn't ANYBODY here watch the UFC? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? I see posts on here about frickin' BASKETBALL, who the FORK likes BASKETBALL?!!!!
Let's get some posts about MMA and the UFC going, for christ sake!

frickin' BASKETBALL...:rofl3:

i watch it, but Im not paying $34.95 to watch it at this point

I watched UFC 1-6 when it was actually more like fighting and less like professional wrestling.

1-6 was more like ****-fighting than "fighting".

u gonna compare ufc to a real sport like basketball ufc is mostly boring just guys laying on one another for 5 mins very gay at times

I, for one, will pay the 35 bucks to see it. It'll be worth EVERY PENNY. Matt Hughes is the greatest fighter in the history MMA. He DOMINATES the Welterweight division, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

basketball is just a couple of tall p*ssys who have never had to fight for anything because of they're intimidating height, who run around bouncing a ball and call fouls on any type of physical contact or agression.

exact reason why NOT to buy it. He has no competition and the match will be over before it starts

UFC is hit or miss in my opinion. Some of the matches are awesome and some are pretty boring too. I watch it once and awhile and only ordered in once on PPV when it was Dan Stevern vs. Ken Shamrock because I thought the match would be a classic, yet both guys were basically on the mat the whole time hugging each other.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the sport but I won't pay 35 bucks for it. (I'm an even bigger wrestling fan and I won't pay 35 to see a PPV of theirs either anymore).

The Hughes match isn't a title match now. Riggs didnt make weight. Was 1 pound over. Then he had some time to take weight off, and he put on another 1.5 pounds!

So now its a 3 round NON-TITLE match.

I think St. Pierre will beat Hughes in the rematch and I wouldn't say Hughes "dominates" now that BJ Penn is back on the scene.

I went to the bar to watch it last night...man that knockout by franklin against quarry was nice. I just started watching ufc so im new to it. I cant wait till liddell-couture 3. i hear thats gonna be a good one.
