UFC PPV yesterday afternoon

Had 1 great fight.

1 OK fight.

Main Event was downright horrible. I thought Tim Silva took over Rich Franklin's body. Franklin is shot and a shell of his former self. Back to MATH class Rich.....it's over!!

Post event press conference had Dana White saying Chuck Liddell will need at least 2 fights before he gets a title shot. That Kurt Angle is at least a year away from any MMA fight. Said Phil Baroni could be in UFC after he beats Frank Shamrock (but didn't mention Frank by name).

i didn't see it, but i read somewhere else that Franklin looked like Tim Sylvia, because he was fighting not to lose the entire fight, knowing a title fight was on the line.

but to me the guy just looks really hollow eyed, and like he is undergoing chemotherapy. he doesn't look healthy. they agreed though that it was a horrible fight.

if Angle is still toying with fighting MMA, i guess he won;t win the TNA title tonite PPV. :D

seems fair that Chuck needs two wins to get another shot at Rampage, since he has lost convincingly to him twice now. Rampage should get the chance to fight two different fighters before having to face Chuck again.

as for Phil Baroni; maybe Shamrock will beat him and we won't have to worry about it. :)

Ed Herman's fight was good. The Singer/MacDonald fight was good.

Clay Guida and Tyson Griffin was unfrigginbelieveable, until Guida was robbed by the judges.

Forrest's fight was pretty good, although I miss the wild style he used to fight with.

I agree that Franklin's fight sucked, bu mainly because Okami didn't try to do anything until the last 4 minutes of the fight. I though he was going to break Franklin's arm!

Bring on Ortiz vs Evans!!!!

Can't wait to see him fight. I think he will do alright even tho his age is probably the biggist factor

Worst PPV of the year by far.

I think next months PPV will be so hyped that it might not be able to live up to expectations. But it still should be FAR better than Saturday's

I think we all knew coming into Saturday that it would be the worst and it was. Like Motion said it should have been free. Next month should be a very good show and hopefully it does not disappoint
