This is going to be a great fight between Jake O’Brien and Heath Herring this coming Thursday! I love to see how Heath “The Texas Crazy Horse†Herring will dismantle his opponent. And I hope O’Brien won’t give him a kiss on the lips ‘coz I think he hasn’t recovered from that kissing incident yet? Haha! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_P4Yr3ArEg

Rest of the card, predicted winners in bold..

Main Card Bouts:
-Rashad Evans vs. Sean Salmon
-Heath Herring vs. Jake O'Brien
-Hermes Franca vs. Spencer Fisher

-Nathan Marquardt (#8 Middleweight in the World)* vs. Dean Lister (this is now the swing bout)

Preliminary Bouts:
-Josh Burkman vs. Chad Reiner
-Ed Herman vs. Chris Price
-Din Thomas vs. Clay Guida
-Rich Clementi vs. Ross Pointon

Im looking forward to the Herring fight, and the Franca/Fisher fight, but Lister/Marquardt is going to be the show stealer, I certainly hope it makes it onto tv.....

This is this week right?

Can't wait to see Herring back in action, he hasn't had a big fight in a long time.

Yeah, it's this week already on spike.

Herring can be a force in the UFC. Hes one of those guys that lingers around.. doesnt quite seem to have what it takes to become the next big thing.. but good enough to be considered with the elite.

He hasn't fought in a major fight in quite some time though right?

FYI............

This is on Spike Thursday night, January 25th at 8pm EST

The fight with O’Brien will be his first in nearly a year. He last saw action when he knocked out Gary Goodridge at the K-1 Hero’s show in March of 2006.

All these fun fights. I sort of wish this was a 4 hour show, because I really would like to see all these fights. I seriously hope Fisher vs Franca, and Guida vs Thomas get televised.

The Fisher fight will be shown, but the Thomas fight will not...Although, more than likely, the Thomas fight will be shown on an episode of unleashed...

Have you guys seen the promo commercial for this yet???

Their actually showing Pride footage, which shocked me, of his fight when that guy tried to kiss him when they touched gloves in the beginning and he just straight jacks him in the face and knocks him out! Classic!

Nope it was actually at a K1 show...

New Year's Eve Kiss

Herring was involved in a memorable MMA moment on December 31, 2005 during K-1's Dynamite 2005 show. During the pre-fight staredown, his opponent, Yoshihiro Nakao, leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Herring reacted by punching Nakao in the face, knocking him out. Herring was immediately disqualified and Nakao had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher. Shortly thereafter, Nakao's cornermen attacked Herring and a brief melee ensued. The fight result has since been changed by K-1 from a disqualification loss for Herring to a no contest, as K-1 found that Nakao's kiss and Herring's punch were both fouls.

I stand corrected!

 Thats just crazy!

Heath Herring loses!

All I can say is wow...I think that was the worst fight on the card and I expected it to be the best but Herring did pretty much nothing then bitc*ing about ground game at the end..its MMA wtf did he expect hope his next fight is a lot better..

I hope Salmon is okay. He is a solid fighter.

Herring came across as a major tool. Kept saying it wasn't a "Wrestling match" and they should have been on their feet. Hey Heath! Its a MMA match! Which stands for Mixed Martial Arts! Whatever works. Very boring fight but O'Brien had the right gameplan.

Rashad Evans is a beast! That was one of the most devastating kicks I've ever seen!

Salmon laid in the ring for 7 minutes motion-less. They took him out on a stretcher motion-less. But he went to the hospital, finally snapped out of it and was ok and is 100% now.

Good to hear. He hit the mat like a ton of bricks.
