True. How can we have that many failed HC's and they all not realize that the QB is the most important position on the field, yet we "dumb" fans can ?

We haven't found a marriage between a good GM and a coach yet. A good GM would get a QB to work with the HC he hires. Think about the GMs that have been here since Jimmy Johnson left...and incidently Jimmy Johnson was the best personnel guy we've had since Shula left...Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Pat Surtain, Sam Madison, Daryl Gardner, Karim Abdul-Jabbar, Stanley Pritchett, Shawn Wooden, Rob Konrad...all guys that Wannstedt lived off of were drafted by Jimmy.

Very true, that's why Ireland needs to go and we hire a competent GM 1st !

Wannstedt won't get another HC job, he got fired from the University of Pittsburgh for goodness sakes. He ran his running backs into the ground there too. I feel for anyone who hires Cameron as a HC coach again. He doesn't have the leadership or personality for it.

Maybe you missed the fact that Wanny didn't just destroy us, but before us, gutted the Bears. Their fans came to our boards back then, and warned us, and we laughed at them. As for Cam-Cam, his year as our HC was a true year of the lost, beginning with drafting the entire Ginn family and then the "fail forward fast". I started really wondering when this new coach decided to not coach the final pre-season game in NO, but watch from the sidelines as he had assistant coaches coach the game in New Orleans instead of himself. I have never heard of a HC on any level delegating all that authority to anyone else voluntarily. Coach Shula was so anal about always being in control, he even was pissed when he didn't win pre-season games. Could you ever see Shula delegating that responsibility to anyone else ?
