After only one session, UM told receiver Tommy Streeter to stop working with ex-Dolphins great Mark Duper because UM’s compliance office is concerned the NCAA might not like it. Duper worked for more than a year with Leonard Hankerson, who credited him (among others) for his development.
UM explained the decision thusly: "The workouts with Hankerson were approved because it was our understanding that Hankerson had a previous relationship with Duper prior to Hankerson enrolling at the University of Miami. We are not aware of any previous relationship with Tommy Streeter, therefore his workouts were not approved."
