Umm draft Tanny-Hill or Nick Foles...?

My point is, how one players play, especially a QB can turn your whole season around in a dime.

Last I checked the Eagles were up 1 on the Cowboys.

Hmmmm!!! Does the name A.J. Feeley ring a bell to anyone here?

Bye week.

Half game.

But Eagles got Bye week now so Cowboys could take lead back (they own tie breaker)

As I previously explained.

Vick was running a completely different playbook and system which did not work for the Eagles.

Barkley is soooooooooooo terrible, that he can't even function as a system QB.

but if you are giving credit to the system then it shouldn't matter. The fact is Foles is in a good system for a QB but he's also producing. Ryan had the benefit of running his college system coming into the NFL and it didn't help him play anywhere near as good as Foles has lately. Ryan could turn out much better, Foles could crash back to earth quickly but as of right now Foles is playing better football.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda!! Why do some of you do this? What's done is done, we have Tanny and I support who is on my team and won't dwell on the past and what could have been scenarios!!

This conversation is inevitably going to go nowhere.

It's only going to become "Tanny gets no protection" or as someone else already said, "Foles is a product of the system" (an entirely abused phrase to begin with). If Foles is a product of a system, then what does that make Tannehill who is playing in nearly the same one he had in college? How can you guarantee he wouldn't be worse in another? Love forum logic.

This reminds me of people still wanting to draft Matty Ice Ryan over Jake Long. We cannot go back in time....but if I could, I would have the Tampa Bay Succaneers draft Tom Brady, and the Patriots would still suck. :woot:

I'd have the Jets draft him:D

Think of how close we came to the Jets being the latest NFL dynasty. If BB doesn't walk away from us b/c of BP he has his staff in place here, he drafts Brady and the rest is history. it's kind of depressing to think about.

Or how bout this...If we had drafted Foles, would we also had:
Riley Cooper
Jason Peters
Evan Mathis
Jason Kelce
Todd Herremans
Lane Johnson
Brent Celek
Zach Ertz
DeSean Jackson
LeSean McCoy
and Jason Avant?

Each QB has to play with who there GM gives them...I'm thinking phills offense is a lot more QB frendly.:brewskis:

Yeah you can always play the "what if" game. I remember thinking about what would have happened had the Portland Trailblazers drafted Michael Jordan, instead of Sam Bowie. You have to wonder if these great players would have just been very average had they been drafted by another team. Brady may have ended up somewhere where he was in a really lousy system. It's like hearing that Art Rooney really really wanted to draft Dan Marino for the Steelers, but his son Dan talked him out of it. Your Jets may never have had Joe Namath and he could have ended up being KC Joe instead of Broadway Joe....and you guys would not have won SB3. :d-day:

I'm not down on Tannehill. I always liked Foles, I had him behind Luck. He's gonna be fine.

I would have gone Kuechly in the 1st and Foles in the 2nd.

Joe Namath..... the most over rated player in the history of the NFL.

The excuses never stop. You've done nothing to demonstrate how it's a more QB friendly offense. You sure are good at giving us a roster list though.
