Umm, more Damien Williams please?

That 3rd and 24 play of his was phenomenal. He's quick, can change directions on a dime, has good vision and great acceleration. I don't understand why we don't see more of him instead of Daniel Thomas.

He definitely needs more playing time. No reason for Thomas to be in there at all until its garbage time. Williams is by far the more talented player.

I agree im sold on Williams, I'd love to see him get more carries but i do think Thomas has his strengths over Williams as well.. Thomas is more patient and better at allowing lanes to open while Williams is a speedy big back that

I continually question the coaching staffs personnel decisions. It seems obvious to everyone that McCain, Matthews, and Williams should be getting more time but they refuse to do it for some reason. They must be really bad in practice or they challenge Philbin too much.

Thomas hardly saw the field except for the carries at the end where we just need to not get one of our good players injured before the end of the game. I don't think the coaches disagree.

I still want to see more Lamar Miller, though with him injured thats less of an issue. Williams is a football player though, thats all I can say about him.

Yes please! Downhill runner, and not merely a one cutback runner - loving the elusive spin move, vision, and the stout stiff arm tonight.

Williams, James and of course Landry made Hickey look pretty damn good tonight - as did his proactive resigning of Grimes before he could hit the open market.

Running backs have to learn protection schemes, not always an immediate thing.

I remember reading Shaun Alexander never did learn. if he was in on 3rd down opposing defenses knew it was a run play

It only takes 2-3 plays for fans to get on board with a player. 3rd and 24 is god damn impressive for a guy like williams to get, not to mention the 1 handed grab. Here's to plenty more 3rd and 24 conversions!

Seriously though, Thomas just isn't in our future. No reason to keep Williams on the sideline 2nd to Thomas.

Definitely need more of him. Mind boggling why Thomas gets so much run
