Does Nick SaTan:fire: and scott linehan know we have ronnie brown.

Its like
He had 10 carries for 51 in the first half, then he ran 4 more times in the game.
Mare, Chambers and Howard contributed to the loss but SaTan and linehan lost the game for us, the second week in a row.

It just is amazing that a RB that is doing so well everytime he touches the ball, doesnt get over 20 carries.

Okay the first two games of the season ronnie averaged under 3 ypc but they were his first games w/ a shaky o-line.
Now the line is blocking.

were you expecting to run Brown 25 times a game, all season long, in his rookie season?

but i do think they should use brown more.

Well Caddy would have if he didn't get hurt.

I think the point he is making is not to drive the guy in the ground, and get him hurt or have him retire to smoke pot, but to give him more touches than he got yesterday. I totally agree with the post, Brown should get 20 carries, and should have more opportunities to catch the ball, it seems like Williams got 2/3rds of the snaps. It should be the other way around
 
tough loss fin fans- someone suggested that you should tank your season- see the other forum- we needed you to beat them- sure would like to see if Sage has anything going for him. is gus's finger gonna keep him out of the next game?

if your taken 2nd overall.... YOU SHOULD BE EXPECTED to run 25 teams a game and be able to handle it in your rookie season
 
At the risk of not sounding stupid, it's important to not burn a rookie out.

These college players only play 11 games in a season, and maybe a bowl game (which comes a month later). Endurance and conditioning in the NFL is very different. Look at Cadillac for a great example. They abused him very early on and he's not done much since. This is a different game, faster, stronger, and tougher. It's important to get your feet wet and learn.

Also, we have Ricky Williams, so Brown can touch the ball 10-15 times while Williams does the rest. This team isn't going to run the ball 40 times a game no matter what.

Talent level is why he was drafted #2, no rookie is prepared for the long NFL season grind. Let's not overuse him and burn him out.

if you simply wanted a player who could run the ball 25 times a game, you could have gotten S. Alexander for only a 2nd rounder.

you selected Brown with the #2 overall pick because:
a) they think he has a very high chance of being a great player.
and
b) he filled a need on the team.
c) he is a young tallented player who can help the team win for many years.

but the only downside to rookies is that they are rarely as good as many think they will be their first season.

I was a sportsbar yesterday and had two Bills fans come up to me saying they hoped the Phins would beat the Patriots....It's been my experience that Bills fans are pretty good in comparison to the annoying Jets fans and Pat's bandwagoners. I don't think we should just write the season off though, as it would be nice to watch Sage and Lemons get some snaps.
 
We are using our 1st round pick perfectly.
