get to see that loaded with nfl talent unc defense and that stud wr of pitt jonathon baldwin for 2011 all 6 ft 5 and 225 lbs of him

plus damian williams at wr for usc...a guy i really look forward to seeing how he gets in and out of breaks and creates separation

any thoughts on draft prospects in these games post here

As for USC...I'm looking forward to see how the safeties play. Mays, Harris and Pinkard.

Little looks good as a WR (not as a punter). watching the NC DT's Austin/Thomas, also LB Carter. Pitt's DE Romeus looks good.

Looking at D. Williams, Mays, E. Griffen and Pinkard tonight.

Marvin Austin got double teamed by blockers two plays in a row.

Edit: 3 plays.

Two blockers making contact with him right away at the snap.

Wow...Little is keeping me impressed. He's trying to make a name for himself right now.

Edit: Unfortunately followed up a great catch with a broken route.

from what i've seen i can't for the life of me see how anyone can view marvin austin as a 3-4 nt...i mean he's not strong enough at the poa and when he does get doubled he gets moved off the ball with ease...i saw 1 play in the first half where he was doubled completely thrown on his back in a millisecond and the pitt back ran right in behind it for a huge gain...i say 4-3 penetrating dt...no way nose tackle...good motor...i think he's a bit overrated

the stunts unc is running with cam thomas and marvin austin aren't working...

i like cam thomas as a nt prospect...a solid 5th round value for me...he holds up at the poa well handles double teams well pushes the pocket well but he doesn't move down the los all that well...strictly a plugger but he's got the strength necessary to play nose in the nfl...would like a little more motor and better technique sometimes...when he gets high is the only time i see guys move him...like the upside needs coaching on technique

greg little to me is a less sudden version of arrellius benn...not as fast or quick but he looks like that kind of player to me at the next level...lacks burst that benn has though...i think he definitely has an nfl future...physical doesn't have the same downhill acceleration which benn has and i love so much

bruce carter i like...he has great speed and lateral quickness...he gets to the ball in a hurry

I definitely disagree on Marvin Austin. He's still growing and has a lot of room for further growth. He is explosive, uses his hands, isn't as strong as he's going to be, and he's faster than most any other DT in the draft.

I've got a lot of tape on Cam Thomas, and a lot of it isn't very flattering.

As for the other players...

I've always likes Charles Brown as a corner just a little more than Kendrick Burney, but both players are very good. They really held Jonathan Baldwin in check, relatively speaking, and that's a HELL of an accomplishment because Jonathan Baldwin isn't just an NFL player, he's an NFL Pro Bowler. Not kidding. He's Pitt's newest Larry Fitzgerald. He...is...that...good.

I have been a fan of Greg Romeus. He does a lot of little things well, he's feisty. He moves well from his first to second, to third moves. He's built very well for a pass rusher. He's not got overwhelming size or power, he may move out to an OLB position at the next level. But, I'd love to see him play there. You don't have to cover players deep down the field at that position.

I am still a fan of Bruce Carter and Deunta Williams. I think they have a future.

Disappointed that Anthony McCoy will not be playing tonight due to academic suspension. Like Damian Williams, especially as a RAC player.

i've seen some good and bad tape on cam thomas also this year...but i think he's a guy who with improved technique could develop at nt...i've heard others say that cam thomas is a waist bender at times and tries to get by with just strength but i see upside there...

and i just don't see marvin austin as a nose in the nfl...

another guy i like a little later on the nose if we didn't get one early is torrell troup

what i liked with romeus was his play recognition and understanding of his responsibilities...not just straight upfield regardless of what's going on around him...nice awareness and recognition

what i didn't like was i didn't see any real explosion off the edge or any change up in his pass rush moves

deuntae williams i'm on the fence on at free safety in the pros...i like burney also the corner for unc

austin does look like he has room to grow and he does move pretty good. not sure i see miami taking him with a mid first.

hell...austin moves very well no doubt and there is room to grow...but i have hard time projecting him to handle/command double teams at the nfl level...a requirement for a nt

i see a guy who will struggle at the poa in that role

taylor mayes playing not to get hurt winds up getting hurt...

does damian williams catch the ball with his body a lot???

i like the left tackle brown for usc...but i think he's a finesse player...not that we'll be looking left tackle that early anyways
