I have struggled with the idea of another team going undefeated. But I have come to accept that the Colts and Saints will most likely finish their seasons that way. Then begs the question: Will I embrace these teams to make it all the way to the Super Bowl? It would make for a great game. Two undefeated teams playing in the game. That would be juicy. Manning against Brees. Both are good guys who are hard to root against. The Colts and Saints are too teams that could be classified as good guy teams. So I think I could embrace this possibility.

Who would have thought the Saints of all teams? At least it's not the stinking Patriots...any team but an AFC East team. Could you embrace this matchup in the Super Bowl?

I'd be very surprised if the Colts finished unbeaten in the regular season. They've been here before, and even though they say they will go for it, eventually they will sit Peyton in the 2nd halves of games. Plus they just had to fight with Jacksonville and now they have to play the Jets who are better and have a better defense.

I think the Saints could go 16-0 (although oddly I also feel a Dallas win tonight) but I think they have shown cracks too. Their defense has been bending a lot and when they play a great team like an Arizona or Minnesota who can score more points, they could very well lose. I think even if they made it to the Super Bowl, I'd favor the Colts right now.

Oh and to answer the real question, I'd rather it be the Colts, if it came to that. The Colts have been very good for a long time and sort of would deserve it. Plus I respect Peyton Manning a lot, and realize he will go down as the greatest ever. No shame in having him join our block of undefeated teams. Nothing against the Saints, but they seem a bit fluky. I know Brees and the offense is good, but it seems like just an amazing year for them, getting a bit lucky too.

I think the Boys will win tonight. They have a lot more to play for and you know they are sick about being called "December Chokers." Romo will have a good game for once, and the Dallas D will come to play. Sooner or later the Saints luck is gonna run out.

I predicted 6 upsets in a row. My streak ended on Thurs. thanks to Gerard, but the Cowboys are going to restart it.

Cowboys 24
Saints 3

Halfway through the 3rd quarter

now only the colts are undefeated...and i'm almost certain that they will coast till the playoffs, likely to lose a game or two. if not, they will blow it in the playoffs, hopefully in the AFC championship to the dolphins! wishful thinking but it could happen
