Ok guys, you tell me if I'm crazy...

But I believe the NFL front office has a BIAS against the Dolphins based on a league-wide perception that our early home games give us an unfair advantage based on the hot weather. So they even things out by STICKING it to us on strength of schedule and quality of oponents on AWAY games.

The stats don't lie:

Miami - New England (Home) (Away), Jacksonville (Home), Indianapolis (Away), Chicago (Away), Pittsburgh (Away)

Buffalo - New England (Home) (Away), Jacksonville (Home), Indianapolis (Away), Chicago (Away)

New England - Indianapolis (Home), Chicago(Home), Denver (Home), Jacksonville (Away), Cincinnati (Away)

NY Jets - New England (Home) (Away), Indianapolis (Home), Chicago (Home), Jacksonville (Away)

Look at the breakdown:

We play FIVE Playoff teams next year, but we play 3 of those teams AWAY! Not cool, and two of those games could be covered in SNOW.

NE also plays FIVE playoff teams, but 3 of those teams are at HOME with only Jacksonville and Cincy away. No soldier field for them, no dome at Indy. In fact, this is a DISTINCT advantage. The difference? They get DENVER at home (we don't) we get PITTSBURGH away, they don't. THAT SUCKS.

Based on strength of schedule and away games, the JETS have the best chance of winning the AFC EAST because they don't play ANYBODY all year and when they do, they face only 4 playoff teams and THREE, that's right, THREE of them are home games.

Finally, the DOLPHINS play 6 games against playoff teams counting the 2 NE games, NY JETS, BUFFALO and NE play 5 games.

NOT FAIR.

NOT FAIR.

I AM SO DAMN TIRED OF THE SCHEDULING COMMITTEE NAILING US.

Plus, we're the only AFC East team that has to play KC CHIEFS.

NOT FAIR.

So damn unfair...

I think it is very fair. I wish people would get over this "everyone hates us and cheats against us" thing.

Schedules are done years in advance.

um the schedule is decided by where you finish in your divison

There is nothing against us except chance we made our schedule in essence by winning games

EXACTLY....the schedules are made years in advance so things do eventually even out.....but you never know if you will be catching some teams when they are up or down. I think the strength of schedule evens things out as well.....the Dolphins just have to do a better job of not loosing to cupcakes like the Browns and Jets like they did this year. Strange how we beat Denver and San Diego and then loose to turkeys. The AFC is also a very tough conference and so we realistically have to win 10 or maybe 11 games to win the AFC East or make the playoffs. I think things are fair, even though it sucks winning your last 6 and coming up a game short of the playoffs. :(

It just shows How bad *** our team is going to be when we steamroll the opposition.

You're crazy. NFL schedules are simply ;) this:

Divisional Games - (AFC East) each team home and away

Conference Divisional games - (AFC South) 2 teams at home, 2 teams away, sites switched the next time around in the rotation

Interconference Divisional games - (NFC North) same as Interdivisional

Placement games - (AFC North and West) the teams that finished in the same place in their division as you did in the two AFC divisions that you don't play that year, 1 team at home, 1 away

Last time we had the AFC South, Indy and Houston played here, so this time we go there and Jax and Tenn come here.

Pitt and KC finished second in their divisions, so we play them. In 2003 we played the North team (Balt) here, so next year, we play the North team (Pitt) there, and get KC in Miami (in 2003 we played at SD).

The last time we played the NFC North (2002) we played at Green Bay and Minnesota. This time they come here and we go to Detroit and Chicago.

There will always be an offset between corresponding AFC and NFC divisions (last time we had the AFC South, we played the NFC East; this time it's the NFC North), since we rotate among 3 AFC divisions as opposed to 4 NFC divisions.

All of this has been set in stone since the 2002 divisional realignment, when these teams were at vastly different strengths, so there's no way anyone could have made arrangements for "STICKING it to us".

Thank you for your time.:)

The NFL schedule from now till the end of time are already decided. It's on an even rotating scale that is the same for everyone.

NO CONSPIRICY!

Hope you had fun typing all that out. Because it was a BIG waste of time.
There is no scheduling committee. The schedule is done YEARS in advance. Go to MiamiDolphins.com and you can see who the Phins play I think all the way until 2009. Minus two games a year which are based on where you finish the year before.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no bias against the Miami Dolphins.
