When push comes to shove with the Dolphins these days....being with the team seems to trump all other concerns. Parcells reworks his contract, Crowder opts to push his agents negotiations, looks like Bell won't test the market, and Carey didn't need to. You hear players around the league expresssing their desire to join this franchise, and some sacrificing millions to make themselves available. Seemingly everything is falling right into our laps....but make no mistake, this is no fluke. League wide respect for what is going on here can be directly attributed to the sense that this time, Parcells has been given complete control. The people that have been influenced by his NFL work are flocking to his side...knowing that without interference, his ways work. Who wouldn't want to be associated with something that seems inevitably successful....even Paul Tagliabue wants onboard. Respect....

BP may not be coaching anymore, but everything he stands for is still very evident. We couldn't have asked for a better signing, than BP. Just think, many teams don't get one HOF guy's running their team, we've had two. We sure can't complain about the men we've had in charge of this organization as a whole.

completely true my friend. Plus you have to keep in mind that the city itself is attractive.. and did i mention the women? or the beach? woooo!!

too bad wayne didnt hold out.
if parcells and company turn things around as good as this thread makes it sound, he probably could have gotten even more money selling next year, even with paying a higher tax.

At a time of the year where there is little or nothing newsworthy, you gave me additional motivation for the upcoming season. Excellent post. Very well put. Kudos my friend.

I'm starting to believe that everyday is newsworthy now....I'm motivated........just wearing my sideline hat at Wal-mart and I met 2 more local fin-fans in Yelm WA....Wow

Nice post!

Has Tagliabue actually expressed intrestin coming to Miami?
I know him and Ross are friends but I have not heard him express intrest in coming.

No one PLEASE get me wrong, I LOVE BP but in your opinion what has held him back from winning a championship in what 20years? I just haven't followed his career very well.

i think besides jeff ireland. parcells, and tony sparano, stephen ross deserves credit for dishing out all the money necessary to keep these players, and also to sign gibril wilson who will be a huge aquisition for us in the secondary.

Did you miss his NY Giants championship team that had Belichek as DC
