Uniform change on gameday????

Nah....I'm not talking about the design. Im talking about the uniform combinations that we play with.


Home: White jersey/white pants

Away: White jerseys/ aqua pants (sometimes: Aqua jerseys, white pants)



With Coach Saban, does any think he might change the uniform combinations???


personally, I like the white/white home uniform, however i wish they'd wear the aqua ones a little more
 
I don't think they will change. Everybody knows that white on white at home during day games gives us the heat advantage. Just because Saban is the coach doesn't mean they will take away that adavntage.
 
I think the white's are very bland but I understand why we wear them at home. I just wish we would wear the aquas more but that seems less likely due to the fact that we won't have any real night games this year.
 
white/white has always been my favorite....I hope we will wear those throw backs at least once this year.

but my question is, exactly how much of an advantage is it really?


imo.....very slim...... ya know, i stay in Texas....where its 100*F plus all the time, so if you live in that environment, work out in everyday, you get used to it. thats really the advantage imo, we're used to that kind of weather, while others are not.



look at tampa bay......they wear their red jerseys, and win a lot of games, (SB not too long ago) maybe the white/white is just a psychological advantage...I dunno
 
The advantage is that the other team has to wear the hot team color uniforms in Miami instead of wearing the white. Miami players probably are used to the heat, but most of the other players probably aren't.

speaking of which......... no prime time games this year, are we even gong to wear the orange at all this year???? :confused:

I hope he handles them by ordering their production suspended, and shipping whatever ones remain to Abu Dhabi, with a one way ticket. :rofl3:
 
Personally Id like to see a uniform change to a modern throwback design. What Jimmy did to our uniform was made it look cartoonish and embarassing. Perhaps use the FinHeaven logo?
 
I remember a raiders game in Miami where they measured the raiders uniform (heat) and the dolphins, and there was something like a 5 degree difference..

yeah see......5*F difference is no advantage in my book. both teams are hot, sweating their tails off.

now if it was 15 or 20, then we'd be talking
