Uniform Thread - Not Fashion related

Do anything to exercise the demons. No one can pin point it. We can sit here and say its Ross or its Ireland or its Sparano, or the shadow of Parcells or Henne or Marc Colombo, or Nolan Carroll or our conditioning coach or sean smith or reggie bush or our high school ex probowl kicker or something else.

Theres just a combination of bad luck and things that go wrong at the perfectly wrong time and its been that way for a quite a bit. Change everything.
 
100% Agree a new look and new feel! So many fans are over it already. Even the bills have made changes damn!

If you think about it the Ravens, Cardinals, Seahawks, and Falcons all have birds as mascots which dont really strike dear, but their design is good and have great colors. Just because we changed our logo, colors, unis, wont mean that will change too. people need to let go and move on of the 72 season and dan marino times.

Are you crazy, those birds are terrifying. All except the cardinal, which, much like the Dolphin, almost impossible to make look 'fierce' without making it too cartoonish aka ridiculous looking.

I'm tellin you all, Miami needs a fresh look, a simple uniform style change isn't much of anything. It's not like we lose our history by doing this. It's just a new beginning, a fresh start.
 
Somewhere between the late 80s and the late 90s the color shifted from aqua to teal. I MUCH prefer the aqua.

We need to go back to the OLD SCHOOL uni's.

The poison started to run when we shifted over in the mid-90's to this newer uniform (when JJ took over) - helmet logo and all.

At first, it didnt affect us much...but as the years went on the poison flowed through our system and at this point we need to exorcise ourselves from this taint. LOL

We need to go back to old school like the NY teams and others.

Wasn't the last time that we wore the old school uni's the time we destroyed Dallas on thanksgiving?

Also, who cares if the Old school helmet design has the Dolphin looking like he's smiling...thats good that means he's smiling that he's kicking your *** which is what we did back then.
 
I agree, I think I would be an cleansing type of move... New Front office, New Coaching staff, New QB and New Uni's... It would be the smartest thing Ross will ever do with this team. He needs to change the persona of this team... For all you Old Schoolers that say shouldn't change the uniform or logo, this is not 1972!!
 
This is the second thread regarding a change to our uniforms/colors/logo/etc.... as if we should even concern ourselves with this trivial, meaningless stuff right now but it seems to creep up every single year in order to push a small fraction of our fanbases agenda once again. Hasn't anyone ever heard that "Change" comes from within or that it doesn't matter how pretty the wrapping is when the product inside still has flaws? As if the Dolphins miraculously put on these new uniforms and are suddenly going to play like a Super Bowl Team....that's NOT gonna happen, no matter how good they feel about their new look. Sure it might give them a little boost for 1-2 games but sooner or later, they'll come back to earth, just like the Bills will. The Dolphins need change there's no doubt but that change needs to come from within, starting at the top right on down the line in order to stand the test of time. These changes being discussed here are all falacies and will not help this team over the long run and quite frankly, I think we could find better things to discuss regarding solid help for our team instead of this ridiculous line of thinking. If you don't like the look there are 31 other teams out there to pick from who's colors, logo or what have ya might better suit you.
