I thought Nike has the new contract with the NFL starting in 2012? i thought they were going to be working on new jersey's for all the teams next year?

Considering the last 6 Super Bowl winners have had the same unis for about 30 years I say this has no bearing.

There is something to be said for tradition. Besides if it was that simple of an answer teams would change unis every year. It's about talent and we have a huge void.

This "tradition" started in the 90s.... Our current uniforms are NOT the same ones we have had since the 70s like the teams you mentioned above...
This requires spending money. Ross will run screaming with his moneybags from any sort of uni change talk.

Actually, they MAKE money from uniform changes since the fan base buys a ton more merch since everything is rebranded.
