I know it's been discussed before here but when are we able to make the switch back to the old logo. I know there is some regulation on changes to colors and things of that nature. Curious if anyone knows this. New look team needs its old look!

I keep hearing they are coming back. Not sure if it's true. Would be the icing on the cake for me this off season with all the positives flying around right now.

The franchise has to notify the NFL by March 1 any written notice and details of any changes in the uniform prior to the year they actually change them. The earliest the Dolphins could potentially make the throwbacks their full time uniforms are in 2022.
err maybe not

I really don't want to go back to the old uniforms. They need to stay in the 70's. Instead, why not design a new uniform that's actually GOOD and start winning in them? Then THAT uniform becomes an instant classic. The NHL has this obsession with teams reverting to old uniforms (Sabres, Penguins, Senators, Flames) and it infuriates me. It's generally a sign of a lack of creativity.

If you know it’s been discussed why not search for it?

We should do something LIKE the old uniforms but modernized. A bit sleeker, but in the spirit of the originals.
Agree. The classics look so good compared to the current uniforms. But I do like aspects of the current uniforms. The de-emphasis of the orange, the striping on the helmet, as examples.
