University Of Pitt Intrested In Wanstedt?

A letter to the Pitt U AD.
Dear Pittsburgh University Athletic Director,
We hear that you may be interested in our beloved head coach David Wanstedt. While it would bring us great pain to let him go, we do believe this to be the absolute best move for you and your university. For reasons, too many to site, he would instantly propell your program to heights previously unknown. David is an excellent coach and motivator and is exceptionally talented when it comes to recruiting. In fact, he is so talented at finding and keeping personell, that the Dolphins have alleviated him of those duties because his understudy, Rick Speilman, has mastered his tecniques and David is now focusing on coaching as well as writing his new book, Talent:How To Find It Under a Rock. Furthermore, I would also suggest that you hire Mr. Speilman as your new Director of Scouting and Recruitment as we feel that he too would help to bring you the talent nessesary to win multiple national chamionships in a very short amount of time.
In closing, we would be willing to pick up the costs of both of their airline tickets, any moving expenses, new homes, vehicles, insurance, 401K plans, and even their contracts for the next 25 years so that you may enjoy all that they have to offer at no cost to you. We do this because we sincerely want you to succeed.

I think Wanny will make a good college coach. As long as he takes his position coaches with him.

I think it's entirely possible that DW would make a good college coach. I'm sure dealing with college players is different than with pros, and his temperament might be well-suited to it.
By the same token, I've no doubt Fiedler makes an outstanding backup QB.

Wanny's a "nice guy", so I hope he gets a job at a university or as an NFL Defensive cord. As a coach, I hate his guts...but as long as it isn't Miami he's ruining(which he is right now), I don't care where he is.

Dave is a great defensive mind, but doesn't have the leadership to be a great coach. I don't believe he is as bad as dphins fans make him out to be though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's coaching the d in Oakland. I believe the best comparison to Dave is Ray Rhodes, both are outstanding d coaches but just can't cut it as head coaches.
