Not a fan of Henne, but I have to agree, the hypocrisy with some posters is pathetic. If he has a ****ty practice, you pile up on him about having a ****ty practice. If he has a great practice, you immediately discredit it. Be consistent, and don't let your agenda make you like an idiot. I'm damn glad to see Henne having a great practice. Sure beats having a bad one. Either way though, we talkin' about practice... Not a game, not a game, not a game...

a lot of you are going way to far hating on the Henne bashers. I have not been on the Henne wagon lately and thats because he has been pretty darn bad. One good practice/scrimmage does not mean anything. Having said that most people would love to eat crow and have Henne light it up this year. Do most of us think it will happen. No. Do we want it to happen. Of course. Most of us would love to be wrong and would admit it proudly.....or at least I would. Hope he does well, doubt it though
by all accounts it hasn't just been one practice, its been 4 or 5 in a row.

It sounds like Daboll has the offense clicking, but I will wait until the Atlanta game before making any evaluations.
I've been thinking about that first preseason game and I don't know how much we're going to get out of it (the fans that is). I'm guessing the first string may only play a series or two, with a shortened off season it may be too risky to play these guys for very long and I also think the offensive and defensive play calls will be very bland. Remember last year our defense looked pretty awful in the preseason but we knew Mike Nolan wasn't throwing anything out there for people to pick up on.
Offense looked awful last year as well but they couldn't even execute simple plays and that carried over into the season. We're 5 days away from getting our first look at this team. I like preseason just to get a look at our depth and some of the rookies. I'm anxious to see Devlin, Gates, Livas, Clay and any surprises we weren't expecting...like Bess in 2008.
