Thigpen had caught the eye of local beat writer Armando Salguero. Salguero described him as fast & said he looked legit. But with Hartline & Clemons injured the Dolphins could be looking to bring a Safety or WR and Miami already have Lamar Miller & Steve Slaton who could both return kicks. The NFL is a numbers game and RB is one the most deep position on the Fins roster.
 
Makes no sense since he's practice squad eligible and it has been reported that he had been looking good and showed pretty good speed.
 
We will see, but I don't think this is true. I tracked down what I believe is the original source and it seems to be a guy on Twitter with 3 followers.
