Surprised that local reporters have not caught on that rookie UDFA Josh Samuda has replace veteran Ryan Cook at Center on the 2nd team Oline. Im told Samuda has been the back up Center for the #Dolphins for a couple days now. Looks like the UDFA rookie has catched the coaches eyes. Ryan Cook is not the only veteran to be replaced on the 2nd team OL, Murtha was replace by UDFA rookie OT Andrew McDonald today according to Armando Salguero. Im told Murtha is sporting a noticeable limp & one has to wonder if his foot injury from last year is fully healed. It does not stop there, it was brought to my attention Nate Garner has also fallen down the lader, he has been with the 3rd team OL most of these practices. One has to begin wondering if Garner ($1.4 million), Cook ($1 million) & Murtha ($2.01 million) will be cap casualties?

I am not surprised about Murtha, but I am surprised about Garner. He always played pretty good and he can play all the line positions.
Looks like the coaches are going all in on the oline retool. Out with the hogs and in with the ballerinas.

So, Pouncey, Incognito, Hicks, Steinbach, Samuda, Long, and Martin are 7 guys right now who look like the best o-linemen we have. John Jerry can never get his weight under control and with Garner falling down the depth chart, he and Jerry may have sealed their fate.

Terribly disappointed in Jerry. What a waste of talent. If he wanted it, he could be an All Pro guard. I really liked his talent coming out, and I had no idea he'd be such a little bitch.

John Jerry and his bro Pereia Jerry make it TO the NFL.......But don't make it IN the NFL!

Seriously, you ought to have one of the jobs at the local newspapers. This is a really good combination of observation and storyline. Well done!

I don't know anything about Samuda. What is his background? Cook has a lot of experience playing for the Vikings.

Josh Samuda is billed at 6-foot-3, 310-pound. He started 11 games as a redshirt freshman and remained a solid presence throughout the rest of his career at UMass. Samuda is real good puller & has a mean streak about him. Really like his ability to pull downfield.

John Jerry, Lydon Murtha and Nate Garner will all be targets for the NYJ roster after they are cut from Miami. Tony Sparano will be all over them like white on rice. I'm surprised by Garner and Murtha, I was always hopeful they would somehow regain some of the promise they once had and make a solid push to gain a starting or backup position along the O-Line.

Jerry is like a giant bowl of jello. His flab jiggles all over the damn place. He has a very poor work ethic. And now he has an injury and wasn't very mobile to begin with. Not a recipe to make this Dolphins team when we want linemen who are athletic and mobile.

I see that Jerry's weight is still listed as being 328 and I almost died laughing. I heard his weight hovers around the 350 mark. The guy could probably be a decent player if he was no more then 315-320
