At risk of being slaughtered for starting another Ricky Thread, here it goes... for the record, this is the 1st RW thread I've started (I think).

It's been almost 2 weeks since Ricky's "weigh-in" at 213 lbs. After 8 days of camp in the hot FL sun, is it even possilbe for him to have bulked up at all?

I'm not exactly a work-out guru, so I can't imagine what kind of dietary regiment he would have to follow to put on any weight when he's out there basting in the sun for hours a day. <--(run on sentence).

Just curious.

Probably Not he is doing to much cardio during the day....He will probably put the rest (or some) of the weight back on during his 5 weeks he will have off while he is suspended...jmo.

Who knows. Ricky probably did not have a lot of water weight to lose. He looked pretty cut and in shape. He will have plenty of time to put some of the weight back on when he is serving his suspension doing nothing but working out and waiting.

I think it's very possible that he is putting on weight. I have added weight while working in the heat when I was still playing. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat and if (and I'm sure he is) Ricky is eating alot of high protein type foods, it will make it easier to put on the muscle mass regardless of the heat in Florida.

I may be wrong, but I think I remember him saying that he's not eating meat. If that's true, where is his main source of protien coming from?

as long as you read the labels and even then the NFL players have to be careful. many supplement companies don't list everything in their products....ah....sorry...I swore not to get into another discussion on banned substances that are "hidden" in supplements.

Soy, beans etc also all have high protein content, if in fact he is not eating meat (and that also means eggs, cheese & fish).
