While some of these losses have been heartbreaking... I would just like to point out some of the teams left on our schedule...

Cleveland Browns
Tennessee Titans
Oakland Raiders
New York Jets
Buffalo Bills

Not exactly some of the top teams in the league...

Dont worry boys... they sky isnt falling yet...

Yes, but they will have to win all of those games to have a reasonable shot at staying in the race. That is assuming that they will struggle against New England twice, and in San Diego

Before the start of the season, everyone (well, reasonable people anyway) thought we would win 6 or 7. The fact that we have a chance to do better than that is great. But if we only win 6, we should be happy that we are going in the right direction.

I predicted a 7-9 record... and we have a great chance to do that or maybe even go .500! And like it or not... that is a great season for this team!

Also, there is a chance that we can steal one from NE at home... the season isnt over yet... :D

Hey, we stole one from the Pats last year. Lets make it two years in a row. :D

At least our team is going to improve on the win total.

Remember those Dallas teams with Aikman and co. First year was 1-15, then 7-9, then 11-5, then a Super Bowl in year 4. I think we can look forward to a similar progression.

And win total isnt the only thing that are improving...

O-Line
Running Game
D-Line
LBs (w/ emergence of Crowder)
WRs (w/ emergence of Welker)
TEs (McMichael has improved ALOT in terms of blocking... and our backups have been doing much better than Donald Lee)

:D

Also... look at the Bengals...

I like ya confidence and attitude Nasty but i say we win 3 more games. NE being a real possibility. We have lost a few close ones but its being able to turn those close ones in our favor and right now i dont think we are able to. Beit thru playcalling, poor Defensive backfield or being unable to create long drives (3rd down) we have too many faults to correct in too short a time.

I agree. Many of us are upset because we are now competing every game. That shows obvious improvement and a plan is in place. Because we are now competing the expectations are higher. The play that really stands out as far as young players preparing us for the future was the hit by Crowder that caused the fumble. Daniels was able to recover the loose ball. I like are young guys for next year.....Crowder, Daniels, Brown. Even our O line has played much better over the last couple of weeks. We shouldn't be upset, I'm excited for the very near future. It will be nice when we finally fill those few missing pieces (QB, CB)

i agree. crowder had a phenomenal game yesterday w/ the exception of the late hit. daniels also had a pretty good game yesterday. i just wish he wouldn't have mistimed that jump on finneran (got lucky he dropped it) i think he coulda picked that off if he woulda timed it better.

New England
Oakland
Bills
San Diego
New England
with the fins 3-5 right now. the Fins COULD be 6-10 by the end of the season.

but that looks better than the bills remaining schedule:
Kansas City
San Diego
Carolina
New England
Denver
Cinci
with the bills 3-5 right now, the Bills COULD finish 5-11

and now for the Pats remaining schedule:
Colts
Kansas City
Tampa Bay
the pats are 4-3 right now, the Pats COULD finish 10-6 :yell:
