I've been on the oust the last few days and am a hollow slump of congenial muck without Dolphins news...

I saw the newswire that stated a deal with Brown could have been done as soon as yesterday yet today Saban has been speaking out on the hold out.

Is there any progress in the contract? I'm just freaking eager to see him in the HOF game and I think tomorrow would be the latest for him to sign in order to familarize himself with the playbook and play in that game.

No..and he's really starting to piss me off!!! Get in camp a--hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fire:

I heard on here last night that ronnie's agent wasn't returning the DOlphins phone calls. take that for what it's worth. I sure do hope he signs soon.

even if he signs tomorrow there is no way we are gonna see him in the HOF game, with travel times there might be 3 practices from now till the game on monday, and thats definitly not enought to get him caught up. so unfortuntly there is no chance of him playing in the HOF game

Last I heard there still working on it, and went though Tuesday night trying to work it out. There still lacking thr 3 mill difference and there trying to close the gap. Nothing new besides that, that I know of.

He needs to get to camp NOW he is only hurting himself by doing this he needs to learn everything and be a part of the team and stop being selfish!

He didn't need to play in the HoF game, anyway. Let that game showcase Ricky and Lamar so teams know what is available for trade when somebody's feature back goes down (and you know it's going to happen even though we all wish it wouldn't). Ronnie will be signed in time for preseason game 2 and will play a nice role in 3 and 4.

That is the best case senerio, and he would have to sign in the next day or two, which doesn't look likely if his agent isn't returning phone calls.

not returning calls? whats that all about? Seems to me Ronnie isnt doing himself any favors with the organisation or the fans. From what ive read we were only 3 million apart. If he wants to play and above all, prove his inflated wages then i suggest he gets his A** in camp pronto. I have been waiting all week for news on this and now im just getting ragged off with him. Hes supposed to be a classy player isnt he? Well he hes doing his best to destroy that myth IMO.

Do you honestly think that this is his fault and that he is destroying his caracter

It is his fault to a point. The agents work for the players. Specially a rook agent.
Ronnie has to understand that by not being here he is missing valuable time to practice. Saban is a no-nonse guy and will not just hand him the starting position. Ricky will miss the 1st 4 games and if Ronnie is not signed soon he wont be in any shape to come in and start those 4 games Ricky will be out.
Ronnie has the power to tell his agent: Get this done ASAP!!!

it doesn't matter if the agent works for ronnie, hes not gonna commit career suicide and accept 18 mil in guarantees then watch braylon edwards get 21... he cant do it and he wont... im guessing ronnie would have to fire france to accept the 18 mil

i can go to a doctor and basically hes working for me, but if he recommending to remove my tonsils, im not gonna be like no instead remove my appendix, you have to do it, your working for me! the agent isn't going to do anything foolish for ronnie or for himself...

Uhm, lets state this once again:

TODD FRANCE WORKS FOR RONNIE BROWN! Not the other way around. At any time Ronnie can sign the contract and/or come to camp.

And please don't give me this "career suicide" thing about $18 million dollars. You and I aren't going to make $18 million in our ENTIRE lifetime.

you would think at 3 mill. apart they could find a middle ground.one side says 19mill. the other side says 22 mill.then 20, no 21. alright 20.5.
