John Clayton said right now the Dolphins have the best offer on the table for Lavar
Apparently he is STILL asking for Julian Peterson money
Clayton said that Lavar and the Dolphins are about 2.5 million per season apart on the deal
The Giants pulled out of the bidding, but might come back in if Lavar's demands get lowered
He did not mention the Jaguars or Bengals.

I'm not surprised by this at all. Lavar and his agents need to realize he's not going to get that type of money. Otherwise he would have received it by now.

because my brother is a Giants fan and never believes anything that goes against the Giants.

ive had it on espn for the last 8 hours( i work the night shift)

Havent seen John Clayton at all.
 
2.5 mil per year is a long way off. I hope they can find a middle ground.
 
Both of those guys need to get a realistic assessment of their values...cause the postons are not giving them good advice.
 
well arrington needs to realize he isnt getting the much and just accept the dolphins deal. maybe throw in some incentives that arrington can earn.
 
I thought he said it wasn't about the money, that he wanted a good fit. Hope he comes around before free agency time runs out.

The Postons are trying to save thier @ss b/c they told LA to pay that 4 mil and he would get it back. Apparently they didn't do thier homework. One of the Postons is already suspended for neglecting to read LA's contract with washington. Don't blame LA for the wait. It's the agent's fault.
 
He had to buy his way out of his Redskins contract ($4.4M) so I'm sure he is looking to get that money back...and then some!
