Update on Starks and Soliai

Could we be planning on franchising Soliai this late in the game?

I think we need some new blood. Time to move on. Good luck.

I don't get not bringing back Soliai. I just don't.

He's already been through 2 contracts here which is pretty damn good.

Sometimes you need to realize when you've gotten the best out of a player your going to get, and realize when its time to move on.

I fine with moving on without soliai and Starks.

Team only has so much many to spend, some guys gotta go.

Starks doesnt get along with Philbin

Canter cant get along with anything dolphins.

But these guys might be surprised when the money they might expect doesnt really come there way. That market has been strange these last two years if you ask me. Its like the recession hit the NFL in a way.

Thinking back on film session with Mike Zimmer, I'd be surprised if #Vikings didn't make a run at Paul Soliai. Could use a big-bodied nose.

Let them go.....I'd rather spend the money building a great O-line for this year.

Odrick has blossomed and we have a couple of nice young tackles, I would draft a DT to throw in the mix as well and save the money.

I like both players but I see neither as irreplaceable or great.

The NFL’s salary cap is $133 million, which is an increase of $10 million over 2013. Still, that’s only a bump of 8 percent. It doesn’t explain the entire 33 percent jump in compensation for Shields and Grimes.

Not everyone is guaranteed a pay raise, however. Defensive tackle Randy Starks probably won’t get one. He earned $8.5 million as the Dolphins’ franchise player in 2013.

However, league insiders doubt he’ll draw a contract that will even average $6 million this time around. As of Saturday, the Dolphins had not made an offer to keep Starks.

Less than 6? And we haven't sent him anything? Wtf man

Why is it considered risky? If Miami wants either of them you'd think they'd make it known right? If they don't want them back there is no risk involved. They probably have other plans.
