Does anyone have any update on Donald Thomas. If hes out for the season, Im going to be depressed all week.

I think we would of heard something by now if that report on scout.com has any truth to it.

Sporano has not been hiding injuries as of yet so until I hear it directly from a team source I dont believe there is any truth to it.
I saw a Sparano press conference last night and he said they would not address injuries publicly until Wednesday, when they are "required" to.
Perhaps they'll make an exception if they do in fact determine that this injury will have him out all year though. I thought I read something yesterday saying that he felt like he would practice Wednesday and be ready for Sunday. Very conflicting reports...

Ahh im so nervous. Im in school right now and all Im thinking about is is Donald Thomas really going to miss this season... : (
Hopefully the Sun-sentinel is correct and he won't miss significant time.

Thomas is a sixth-round pick. But re-watching the game proved that he wasn't a liability, and didn't cause any of the Dolphins' four sacks by my count. Then I learned he played the second half with a sprained left ankle and I gained even more respect for this former UConn walk-on. So that makes him a quick learner, a physical player, and now a tough son of a gun.

You know I reviewed the recording of the whole 2nd qt in which Thomas said he was injured....and I did not see when he got injured...infact he didn't miss a snap in the 2nd qt.
If it did happen 2nd qt. I don't think it was caught on camera.

Thomas did well....but even if he is lost, we have decent backups to cover for him.
Shawn Murphy, our 4th round pick. Andy Alleman, who we were high on before the draft. And Nduwke (nothing great, but experience nonetheless).
i think Murphy and Alleman can make good backups.
