Updated playoff standings. We own our own destiny

Carolina will be a total slugfest, their D is phenomenal, but Newton was abysmal yesterday. If that continues, we have a good shot. If he gets it together, we have a huge task on our hands to come out of there with a W.

yeah newton airmailed a lot of things yesterday...still his legs scare the hell out of me with how much our backers get out of position etc and that three headed running combo they have is physical and explosive...

the d's sick everywhere...lotuleilei has become a stud kuechly for my money is the best lb in football...tanny better watch out throwing the ball underneath without accounting for him or he will take our cookies...that damn rookie lb they got klein who i liked as a mid round guy is more instinctual too than our guys...i don't like those de's on our tackles either...

carolinas a coming folks...you wanna talk about a physical unit wait til that young defense gets off the bus....they will knock you out

we both don't have qb issues...that's not true...you guys do

we do have oline issues that you do not though but you guys are more one dimensional in the sense that your qb can't make plays unless the run game dictates it...i'd much rather be in our position considering that...

i've seen tannehill throw for big yardage without a running game and win games early in the season in just that way...i haven't seen smith do anything unless the run game and read op/wildcat is carrying you...

Your QB has not been very good w/ MUCH more weapons around him and a team that was expected to be a playoff team.

We have also seen your QB fold in big spots and not even compete against certain teams.

Smith's game in Atl was better than Ryan has had all year and he wasn't carried by anything. last week he was carried by the run game, maybe if your CS was smart enough to do that you could have competed w/ NO?

Denver and KC will probably have more.

Stop acting like you guiys are so much better. Youre ONE game in front of us.

I am not acting like anything, just responding to a point that was made.

please get over the new orleans win...or the fact that we got beat...my qb has not folded either...that's just dumb...

anyways we will let this 2nd half play out and see...i'm not gonna argue with someone who can't see how little his qb is doing to contribute of late and how dependent upon other things your offense is right now...

Good enough to have a rating 10 points higher then your QB with an inferior O-line, I know you don't like stats or QB ratings...unless they benefit you, but that what we have. ON the other hand, if you did the eye test and watched both (As I have), 10 points actually sound pretty low compared how much more consistent Ryan has been.

Not even close to the inconstancy that is your rookie QB this year....one great game does not a season make...sorry.

Saints are a much tougher team in NO then they are away, you should know that, or maybe you don't.....one thing is for sure, your team plays in NO, the score you saw last night against the Cowboys....maybe same amount scored by Saints, but doubtful your team reaches 10 points, let alone 17.

first off, where have I said geno was doing anything spectacularly? we'd have probably 2 more wins if Sanchez was healthy but geno has been ok especially for a guy who clearly was not ready to start the season and only played b/c we had no choice.

Ryan took you out of the NO game and didn't compete

he had plenty of time to get into decent FG range vs. Baltimore but instead set up a 57 yarder(though he made a great scramble and throw to Gibson to keep that drive alive)

vs. Buf has huge fumble to give Buf the lead then gets the ball almost at midfield trailing by only 2 and cannot complete a pass to get into FG range.

at NE: shut out in the 2nd half w/ another 2 INT game. In 3 of his last 4 games he's had at least 2 INTs, he's had at least 1 INT in all but 2 games and has turned it over at least once in all but one game.

we'll see what happens, both teams have an opportunity to make the playoffs.

who cares about ratings? this game is about WINS. we were supposed to win2/3 all year, we are 5-4 which at the moment is more than you guys.

He's been better than our rookie QB this year and he should be- year 2 and more talent around him.

Saints are tough everywhere, sure they are tougher at home as most teams are. Your QB didn't compete against them, ours didn't do much but at least he didn't turn it over to give the game away like Ryan did.

we can play the venue game all you want. You played Cincy at home. Cincy is undefeated at home and all 4 losses came on the road. you played Atl at home, we played on the road. we lost by 3 at NE, you lost by 10, we beat Buf by 7 at home, you lost by 2.

i know what happened in those games and i also know that you are blaming the qb too much for what happened to cause those losses late...as for the new england game give me a break one of those picks was a down 10 less than a minute left just chuck it as far as you can...that's not indicative of how he played in that game...i wouldn't bang geno smith for throwing one of those i wouldn't bang any qb for picks in those scenarios...they're just stat killers that reflect nothing on the actual play of the qb...anyways yeah he threw a pick against new england down 3 that hurt on a ball thrown with too much air on it that floated...it sucks but at least we found out it wasn't a poor read or decision...which is something you can't say on just about every geno smith pick...

you better hope like hell that run game continues to gash people cause if not you screwed...difference b/t our teams is your qb screws you if you can't run the ball with us if we can't run the ball the protection screws us

More important than the 2 INts was the ZERO points he led his O to in the 2nd half of that NE game but I'm sure it was the fault of other people.

Both our QBs screw our teams, bot of our teams should be running more. Your QB is better now(and should be) but we are better coached. we'll see which wins out- talent or coaching.
