New York Jets' strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi tripped Miami cornerback
Nolan Carroll as he ran out of bounds on punt coverage during the Jets' 10-6 loss to the
Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon, and
later admitted that it was intentional.
The NFL and the Jets said Monday morning that they are both reviewing the matter."The team is reviewing the situation and is looking into the appropriate next steps," Jets public relations chief Bruce Speight said in a statement Sunday night.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano had said Sunday that he would submit the play to the NFL for a review.
