Fasano doesn't look like a great blocker... looks more like a receiver.

On the sack/fumble of Beck, the anouncers said: "Donald Thomas was a little late off the snap allowing Simms to cause the fumble". This was complete non-sense. Jake Long blocked the DE on his side... a Linebacker ran around him. Ricky tried to block this guy and failed... pushed the linebacker right into Beck causing the sack/fumble.

So 2 plays with bad protection in the first qtr... and this was Ricky and Fasano's fault... not the o-lines.

Most of the pressure our QB's faced last year was because of exactly this...

The backs/TE's, etc. failing to effectively pick up blitzers.
