Looks like 9-7 will make the wildcard this year in the AFC! Denver, Jax, Indy, Chargers are all 4-4 or worse. Now seems to reason, if we finally wake up against the mediocre and less fortunate teams (notice my wording)(oh and knock on wood) and win 2 of the 3 remaining of our divisonal games, we are SERIOUSLY, playoff contenders.

I just cant believe this could happen, again, I know we are rebulding and I though 7-9 for us was good, but at this point, we are better than I thought and better than most people thought. We really are CONTENDERS!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!

I don't think we have a chance on the wildcard to get into the playoffs with 9-7.The way this is looking a lot of teams might be 9-7 after all is set and done.If we gonna get in is gonna have to be winning the division.Just my 2 cents!

The good and crazy thing is that at the midpoint of the season, we control our own destiny. The way I figure it, if we win out, we will win our division. I know this is improbable but it is nice to at least be within striking distance half way through the season. We have been eliminated at this point the past several years. With our upcoming schedule, I believe 10-6 is very possible and 8-8 would be a disappointment.

the way I see it we must win our remainders 4 games at home and steal two on the road but I agree with you BUDDY we do control our own destiny

According to ESPN, we have the easiest ride the rest of the way facing opponents with a combined .375 winning record to date.

I agree we do have the easiest schedule but then nothing comes easy to the Miami Dolphins and that is a fact

Yea this really was THE GAME . . . and being that we won it . . . now I glanced down at the schedule . . . and I started to get tingly . . . means nothing . . . we got Seattle next week . . . and we gotta handle business. 5-4 baby . . . lets make it happen.

I am very optimistic too. I am worried about our continued luck (with help from conditioning) in regards to injuries. For example, Ferguson goes down and I think that totally changed our chances in the Ravens game.

But, with continued luck, this team can definitely make the playoffs.

Can we win the games we are supposed to win? That has always been are problem.... 5 of our remaining games we s/b favored to win... If we win them
then we have a shot to make the playoffs. Isnt it great to even be talking playoffs?

Be optimistic but don't get too caught up. We've played better ball against the good teams and have played down to the teams that are believed to be bad.

Although, looking at our losses (Jets, Arizona, Houston, Ravens), we are talking about 2 divisional leaders, the best D in the league and a team that ran off 3 straight wins with a very strong offense. I still think we should have beaten all of them, but none of them were in hindsight obvious victories for the phins. Whereas Seattle for example is a playing really poorly. I am not saying the team can relax and look past them as they are all professional football players, but I will be much more disgusted at the team for losing to a bad Seattle team.

Solai being suspended didn't help either . . . even with him in there we may have been better against the run that day.
