He needs to face the music and get this off-season thing out of the way. The way he responded to the media yesterday was not only cowardly but very immature. He missed a golden opportunity, IMO, on Monday the first day of camp. With Ricky taking all the hoopla, he coulda went up there and answered all questions regarding what happened and it would have been in the back of the sports pages on Tuesday morning. He doesn't have to answer everything as this involves a personal matter. But questions pertaining to him, he needs to be a man and fess up. I think he showed a lack of maturity yesterday and for a guy who's going into this season playing for a new contract, he has to be the dumbest son of a ***** in the world or just doesn't get it. I'll go with the latter.

If he talked about an upcoming court case with the media, then he would be the dumbest son of a ***** in the world.

I'll go with: 1) Its his personal life and is none of the media's or the fan's business. 2) An arrest does not equal a conviction, thus he is innocent of all charges an allegations until so convicted.

That would be the best thing for him. To not talk about it, that is. If he doesn't want to talk about, why should the media force him too? It's his personal business, not ours.

He doesn't have to go into details about the incident or even talk about. But there are questions about him and his character that he should address. What happened between him and his wife is his business, I agree with that.

What kind of questions?

A reporter asked him if he had a drinking problem. He snapped back "Do you" Then if he has a problem with anger management. Interview over. Ok fine, he doesn't want to answer the questions, man up and say so. But don't treat the media like what YOU did is their fault. When this happened last year and he was asked about it, he said he would rather not talk about it. I was fine with that. He seems to be running away from it this year.

probably more out of frustration of the "focus" on his personal life in a time rather embarrassing I would think...no? And in all reality...it ISN"T any of our business.

Yep, I see your point, he does seem to be angry at the wrong people.

Have you stopped beating your children?

Stupid question isn't it? There is no proof, only assumptions and allegations. Aren't we supposed to be innocent until found guilty by a group of our peers? Why won't you afford him this same right?

Well maybe he's getting tired of people asking him about it or the media talking about it. Heck, even I'd snap.

IceStorm, that question is an oooold joke....try answering yes or no to it and see where it gets you.....anyway, he was just joking.... :)

He needs to be a professional not just to be paid like a professional. A simple, "I have some stuff I'm working out in my personal life. I'm excited about the upcoming season and am looking forward to a productive season."

Does Harvey Greene (director of PR) do anything for his paycheck?
