I'm back in Florida BABY!
The Sun-Sentinel reported that Meyer was at the morning practice session today. In regards to this, I have a question. How long do you think it will be, before Meyer is either the hot "coach" with respect to an NFL job (Cooridinator or Head Coach) or before he is counting the days before he gets the NFL coaching offers?

Also, is Meyers a "College Coach" only like a Spurrier/Stoops/Mack Brown and will have no interest in coaching at the NFL level, or do you think if a success at Florida, he'll go Nick Saban on the Gators and Jump at the right chance?

Meyer will probably get serious NFL offers in 2 years.

Also, he's an opportunist that doesn't stay in one place for long (left Bowling Green after only a couple of years, then Utah after a couple of years), so he will likely go pro when given the chance if the situation is right.

He will not make a good NFL coach. You see what happened with Spurrier. And Meyer's defense is even worse historically then Spurrier's is. He's a lifetime college coach. The only other place I see him going to in a couple years is Notre Shame. But he certainly isnt an NFL coach.

At least give him two years in college then he will take NFL money..he is already getting paid nicely though.

Wrong forum. But he is a good coach but lets see what he can do in the SEC with th Gators--and mind you, if he wins with the Gators, he will make even more coin here in Gainesville and might not want to make the jump so soon.?? just a thought/

I can see him being a succesful offence of coordinator in the NFL. He has more of a chance at bieng successful in the NFL than spurrier IMO because Meyer is a big disciplinary guy and is a pretty big hard *** unlike spurrier who was more of a Mike martz genius type but isn't a well rounded coach and isn't a good communication guy.
