I am not saying that Urlacher is faking an injury to get out of going to the Pro Bowl.....BUT I seriously doubt he has an injured toe. That's what you say when you lose a Superbowl and don't want to go to a meaningless game after the season ends.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. Chicago Bear Brian Urlacher will not play in Saturday's Pro Bowl because of a toe injury suffered in the Super Bowl yesterday.
The New York Giants say Antonio Pierce will replace the Bears middle linebacker on the NFC team. Pierce will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance in six NFL seasons.......

Brian wouldn't fake an injury. He really enjoys the Pro Bowl and it's not like he's some woman who is going to go home and lock himself in a closet and eat ice cream all week. [/defendingbrian]

unless he's home biting his pillows

He was out for a few games this season and already many nfl players had surgery for injuries sustained during the season.so i am not suprised.
richard seymour the only patriot probowl already had a knee scoop , dan koppen our center had his shoulder surgery and hobbs had a nail put on this wrist last week...the ones we know of.They have to heel and then get ready for next season .

they should really just scrap the pro bowl. how many guys is this now that were voted in, and now are backing out of it? Its a rather meaningless game anyways...

In completely unrelated () news, Olin Kreutz and Lance Briggs have also injured themselves out of the Pro Bowl. That's 4 Bears out now :( I'm only going to watch the game for Jason, Zach and DH23 now.
