â€â€MLB Zach Thomas should be cleared to participate in the start of training camp after undergoing off-season shoulder surgery. Thomas was limited in the team's off-season practices.

"I've never really had anything on my upper body from an injury (standpoint)," said Thomas, who still led Miami in tackles in 2005 with 158 despite getting injured 10 games into the season. "You've got to have patience with it ... It will eventually come."

I think Fred Beasley is one of the best kept seceret signings there was this off-season. Ronnie Brown will break out behind him and he also gives us another weapon to pass to out of the backfield. Having a good fullback is huge in 3rd and short situations weather it's feeding him the rock, lead blocking for the running back or dumping it out to him on the play action to pick us those couple of yards. Beasley is going to be our unsung hero this year.

It's also nice too see that Carter thinks the front 7 will get even better, and Ronnie believes he will also break out.

Great read, thanks man!

Beasly will be a beast!!!!, and i think that zach will cotinue to play really great football

I love watch fullbacks blow up linebackers at the los..... I am definately going to keep an eye on Beasley, add to that the fact that he has good hands and I think at the end of the year fans will have a healthy appreciation for Fred....

I don't know if you can call a guy who has been to the Pro Bowl a secret. He certainly has been noticed by players and coaches but is definately unsung when it comes to the average fan. But aren't most blocking FB's? It is interesting to read all of the fantasy blurbs about Ronnie. Most "experts" have him somewhere between 6-10. All of them note the fact that Ricky is gone, which will lead to more production from Ronnie. But this is the first article I have read that credits the addition of Beasley. I also like the statements about Mike M. running the offense. We should see a lot of balance. Thanks for the read.

Well the part of my statement you quoted, you left of the rest of the sentence. I said;

Notice the bold part. Meaning his signing kind flew under the radar. Not a lot of people mention him when they mention our big off-season.
