You what I really love about those list is they are always so far off. Well of course they are writers make them up. Show me any other QB that held every record at the same time. Oh you can't but the #11 guy did. Lets see Payton (my daddy got me the weakest division to play in) Manning put up those numbers against good teams. Oh and while you are at it see how many Colts are still around for the playoffs when they do not play JR collage teams 6 times a year. Dan is the best in my book but I am a Fins fan. He is in every ones top 3 or 5. So some fat never played the game writer comes up with a list. Way to kill some trees.

i think he'll always be haunted by the fact that he didn't take home the big one. be that as it may, in my humble opinion, that list is a joke and dan got shafted.

thats a ranking stupid #11 huh thats a joke people seem to not realize just how great he is well well well look what i found on cbs sports line end of story.Who is the greatest QB in NFL history?
46% Dan Marino

7% John Elway

11% Brett Favre

26% Joe Montana

7% Johnny Unitas

3% Hey there was an NFL before 1958

I dont' think that holds true on this list....look who #12 is. I'd like to see the rest of the list before I make any judgments.

This is not a QB only list, its the 25 greatest players of the last 25 years, there are some great football playes ranked lower than he is, such as Peyton Manning, they haven't unvieled the top ten yet.

oh **** and i'm sitting here getting pissed off cuz i can't find the link to the top 10.

I think this is actually a pretty good list of the #11 to #25 of the top NFL players of the last 25 years and will make my final determination when I see the rest of their list.

I am so tired of crybaby fans getting upset everytime Marino is not #1 on any list that comes out. I would be ashamed to be a dolphins fan if it weren't for teh fact that other fans of other teams do the same thing.

It's a list of NFL players, not top NFL QBs. Being #11 on the top NFL players list of all-time is pretty damn good.

To be fair, I honestly think some of the posters thought it is was a QB only list, in which case, it would be laughable to rank Marino as only the 11th best QB of the last 25 years.

theres still emitt smith, jerry rice, barry sanders, jim brown, earl cambell, joe montana, tom brady, john elway, and walter payton... most of those should round up the top 10. I love dan but if these guys are above him I'd be ok with that.

Jim Brown won't be included in this list because he didn't play in the last 25 years.

sorry didnt know that was a rule on this list... so replace him with Lawrence Taylor I guess.

I wouldn't if those two guys (highlighted) were ahead of Marino, as for the rest, they all can give good enough reason why they should be ahead of Marino, and I have no problem with it......then again, there are just as good amount of reasons why Marino should be ahead of them also.

John Elway will be listed ahead of Marino for two reasons. Most career wins and two Super Bowl rings.
