has all the predictions of all the pro football magazines and all of them are picking the patriots to win the division.I cant beleve not one picked miami still no respect i geuss the team has to step up and prove them wrong.I think it's because alot of this has to do with c pep's injury and if he can stay healthy.I dont really pay much attention to what they say in those mag's but i was surprised to see that.

Predictions are nothing (otherwise, the 'Phins would have several more titles than they do). Results are everything.

At this point we don't deserve "that much" respect to overthrow the Patriots. I agree that we must prove them wrong.

The Patriots always contend no matter who they lose because they have consistently proven that they can win under any circumstances. Until Miami can prove they can do the same the Pats should be ranked higher. Potential is nothing, production is everything. Until our guys produce this is the stigma we will have. Personally I like hearing the negative cause thats just more crow these guys gotta eat when we do win the division next year.

We have to prove it. The Pats have proved it year in and year out.

1. I don't care if the newsmedia "respects" Miami or not.
2. We have done nothing to earn anyone's respect. We've improved the team ON PAPER, but that's about it.

agreed....the pats are the division champs untill we win the division....actions speak louder thaan words

absolutely. even if Cpepp was completely healthy, this team has shown nothing in terms of knocking the Patriots of that horse. they deserve that crown until someone takes it from them. i would expect nothing less if it were the other way around.

in my opinion also.....i am a firm believer that you need to prove your worth by the actions you take, and the moves you make.....so many people just think that critics and writers should just automatically have the fins ranked higher than other teams that have been winning, season after season....we need to earn our respect on the field, which i believe will happen, but it still needs to happen....

Big deal. Right now they are picking the safe bet. No one has been able to unseat the Patriots in a while. We will get the respect when we show that we are a consistent, winning team. I think we have a good chance to unseat the Pats this year and then we will probably start getting some love after that.

hopefully i can get some love before that......hahaha sorry couldn't help myself

Anybody remember the '95 team? On paper we were the best team in the league. 1st round picks and probowlers everywhere you looked. Most of the media outlets had us winning the SB before the season even began. We ended up getting destroyed by Buffalo (almost 350yds rushing against us)in the first round of the playoffs, which in turn led to Shula's "retirement".
Being good on paper, and any prediction that may result, is meaningless.

Don't get worked up over some predictions, b/c there are NO EXPERTS in this league.

The experts jump on who's winning, and New England has been winning for 5 years now. We'll get their soon enough (IMO).
