Very thorough. I really liked the breakdowns on our units. The article mentions we might be interested in Jake Long, Chris Long, Joe Flacco or Chad Henne. The writer made it real clear that they don't think that Beck is ready yet and that Parcells will address the QB situation. No mention of us going after Glenn Dorsey or Sedrick Ellis.

Sounds like Beck will never get a chance in Miami as QB.

True he might not. It's unfair but it happens when a new regime comes in. Same thing happened to Daunte Culpepper last year. He wasn't Cameron's guy so he got pushed out. At least Beck will still be on the team and will still have a chance to show his stuff. Even if it's only as a backup he'll get a chance to show his stuff.

Opportunities in the NFL are earned, not given. While Beck will still get some opportunites with the Dolphins as he should, he certainly did very little with the ones he's gotten. I saw some signs of raw talent, but I also saw some unforgivable unforced errors that will grace sports bloopers longer than he will wear a helmet. He needs to see every play as an audition for his professional career and be prepared to make the most of them. Another year like last year and he can start preparing for life other than football. Maybe selling insurance or something?

He will be given young competition that will either fire a spark under his *** or it wont. You simply cannot survive if you cannot do the basics such as recieving the snap from center.

I think Beck will rebound and do something good, but I think the long term plan could end up being Beck sees time and gets to show off his talent and then some team gives us a pick for him in a year or two.

I mentioned this in another thread.....

Parcells watched film on Beck for a while and came out a lot more impressed than he thought he would of been. Beck will have his chance to workand develop. He will have his chance to earn the starting nod!!! so wish him luck man

he played with no WR's and thrown into poor situations with the DOlphins this year. Can't tell me Beck only frusturated you this year!

i agree with Nappy... but i might not shoot myslef

I would be happy if we took Flacco or Henne to compete with Beck. We all want what's best for the team to win. If Beck is the better QB then I'll be ecstatic we went with him. But we can't go into the season with only 1 young QB.

Actually, I would be ecstatic if we took Flacco. I'm a Delaware resident, I've seen every game this year he played and I really like his tools.

if history is any indication about Parcell led regimes you can be assured that the QB position will be a fight to the bitter end. Whether it's Beck, Lemon or FA's we probably won't know the starter til Week 1 of the 2008 season.

No! We dont wish him, luck. Maybe "bad" luck. He's ugly, short, and has small hands. "Bring us Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco, Bill! Stop playin around man."
