USC QB Mark Sanchez entering the draft

I think Lions pass on QB (Stafford AND Sanchez), and go OT #1 overall (move Cherilus to RT, his more natural spot).

KC Chiefs will pass on QB also. Not Pioli's style. They'll go for a safer pick, or trade down.

Maybe SF at #10 takes QB (Stafford).

Sanchez will fall to late round-1, or round 2.

I think Sanchez should've stayed another year, but with a chance to possibly go #1 overall, I can understand why he's leaving Southern Cal.

i agree,i think he should've also...especially with him only having played 1 complete season as the starting QB,and not just coming in cause the starter got hurt...i know Coach Carroll isn't happy about it...
Carroll, a former head coach with the New York Jets and New England Patriots, thinks another year of college experience would have greatly benefited Sanchez, who started at USC for only one full season.
“Mark is going against the grain on this decision and he knows that. He knows that coming out early is a tremendous challenge for a quarterback and the statistics don’t back up that it’s easy to be successful in the way that he’s going about it,” Carroll said.
“We’ve seen successes and we’ve seen guys come up short on this deal. We hope this works out beautifully for Mark and his family.”
Carroll isn’t selling Sanchez short.
“He’s a competitive guy, a guy that’s willing to take on this challenge in a way that he’s going to make it happen,” the coach said. “Mark clearly has the potential to be as good as any of those guys we’ve had. We saw it early on.

Very accurate IMO....

Anyone who selects Mark Sanchez does so with the understanding that he has all the tools necessary to develope into a legitimate NFL quarterback down the road...but coming out early didn't help him..

He comes from a factory of NFL quarterbacks that played in a pro style offense at USC that translates well to the NFL...

I think both Detriot and KC will serously consider Sanchez at the top of the 2nd round...unless he wows them in post season workouts...

there is no way he will he is the top rated QB coming into the draft

just so i understand you...how do you figure that when he only played 1 complete season as the starter?

He's been the top rated QB all his life since High School. He has all the tools you need for a NFL QB and even though he played 1 full year at USC the playcalling held him back from throwing some incredible #'s. 30TD and 10int is pretty good for a school that is called RB U. He will be the first QB taken.

NO way. Stafford will be the first QB taken. Sanchez is lucky that the other guys didn't declare or he would have fallen behind ALL of them. But, he still might go in the first round now. The problem is, there aren't many teams looking for a young QB. So, if he gets passed up for another position by KC, the drop could be a long way.
