it is under the Pat Turner Interview with Big OCould you link to it please? I'd like to hear it. Not questioning whether it's true or not, just would like to hear the whole interview.
Man, I gotta check in on that site more often. There's like 5-6 interviews of our players that I haven't heard yet.
And wow, Bess is so humble that it almost annoys me, he never gives credit to himself. But that's always a good thing, so glad he's on our team.
Bess has gotten all that "Me" stuff out of his system. He's blessed to have a shot at pro ball and he knows it. That's the mark of a focused player. I've said it once, and, I'll say it again. I am a HUGE Bess fan. I have not been a fan of any Dolphins player like this since Jensen.
Good news because we need both CB rookies big time this year. If Sean Smith is outshining V Davis then that creates lots of extra pressure Davis does not need to deal with and certainly will not help his play. If you listen to all the beat writers its Smith whom is shining star of the 2 of them right now which is ok news but not really good news. Davis was the 1st round pick and for the good of the phins as well as himself he should start over Smith. The fans and press put to much pressure on these rookie players in many cases and just cause more problems when those players start to soak up the criticism. Remember its the coaches and GM's that drafted the players and thats where the criticism really needs to begin and end.
No, Smith outshining Davis is a GOOD thing. It creates competition to bring out the best of them. Either way, I'm fairly confident they'll both be very good players, and hopefully create a new CB era for us.
